Bottle shared with blankboy, mds, jerc & mabel - courtesy of blankboy. Ruby-brown with a wispy tan head. Delicious aroma of chocolate malt and coffee. Body is a bit on the light side, but works well with the flavour, which has a good amount of coffee along with some charred malt notes, and a nicely hopped finish. Not too shabby!

Poured a very stouty black with a thin, lacing white head. Looks a bit like a cup of black coffee with some latte like foam on top. Or maybe I’m reaching. I expected more of a coffee aroma, but the aroma was much like a traditional stout. Grainy, malty and nutty with a touch of coffee aroma hidden deep in the back. Flavor is extremely malty and nutty. Strong coffee/expresso taste comes in at the finish. Flavor is not well balanced. Not enough cappuccino or coffee flavor to stand out, not enough balance to be a great stout.

Bottle (650ml) shared with GregClow, mds, jerc & mabel -- my bottle. Pours a very dark ruby-brown with an average size somewhat-lasting foamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and mild hops. Flavour of roasted coffee, dark malt, some mild chocolate and a roasty bitter finish. Medium bodied, oily mouthfeel. Very good stuff.

650 mL bottle. Aroma of malt, alcohol, and cherries. Despite the coffee beans, the coffee taste doesn’t come through very well. It has a somewhat sour, smokey caramel taste with hints of fruit and a dry vanilla finish.

(22 oz. bottle from <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/massachusetts/westborough/julio’s-liquors/461.htm target=blank>Julio’s Liquors) Really does taste like cappuccino...Pours very dark coffee brown. Three fingers of tan head that recedes to a fluffy 1/2". Nose of vanilla, coffee and caramel. Mouthfeel fairly smooth, a bit oily. Flavor of roasted coffee with notes of capucccino and dry cocoa. A bitter smack through finish. Liked the flavor alot, would have been almost excellent with a more silky and slightly meatier palate.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry and MDS, Harry’s bottle. Black, tiny tan head. Nice aroma - coffee roast, lots of sweet chocolate. Great taste - silky mouthfeel, tons of coffee roast and cappuccino flavours, - very sweet. Lots of roast bitterness in finish. Outstanding overall.

bomber. Pours dark brown with ruby highlights and a medium sized brown head that dissapates. Aroma of chocolate and just a bit of coffee. Taste is sweet chocolate with an aftertaste of coffee. Very nice.
