I wouldn’t go as far as saying "hard-core" coffee....Definately not some, just took an "e" and now dancing nonstop in frantic biznuz to some hardcore jungle ala Rufige Kru....but yea, not bad....bites for a cappuccino, hence the dog???/..malts, roasted nuts and chocolate, and a bit of creme. a note of figg too.

Jul 22, 2008 Such a smooth beer. Obviously a lot of coffee and mocha throughout, but also some chocolate notes, roasted malt. Thicker, chocolate milk mouthfeel.

Jul 22, 2008 dry for a stout and the hop selection plays well with the coffee flavor. They say a good shot of espresso tastes like fresh coffee smells, that is how this tastes. Very nice.

bittersweet nose, tons of coffee tones, little sweetness, earthy, roasty....
Tasting it...mmm, there it all is, in the nutshell, rich, roasty, coffee and chocolate. Smooth, and full of flavor. Great texture, lots of play on the palate.
My notes on this were minimal, but my pleasure in the drinking was not. Very nice coffee stout. I’ll return to this one again!

Jun 25, 2008 Bomber with some age on it. Pours a thin black brown with little to no head. Roast malts and coffee on the nose. In flavor, coffee, a tad sweet. A drying astringency in the finish. Slightly chalky and thin mouthfeel. I like both coffee and coffee brews, but this didn’t do much for me.
