A clear red-brown beer with a lasting brown head. The aroma is sweet with a slight hint of chocolated. The flavor is sweet with notes of prunes as well as hints of chocolate, there is a slight sourness in the background. I’m missing some coffee in this one.

(Bottle 65 cl) Pours a very dark brown mahogany with a reddish glow and a lightly creamy, off-white head. Slightly perfumy hop aroma. Medium body with distinct, sweet malt. Some lightly burned accents. Quite pleasant and drinkable. 030606

Bottled. Dark ruby, rich firm head. Aroma of coffee and blackberries. Sweet and dense. medium bodied wit somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. Coffee is evident, but does not assault, tobacco chimes in. Salty bitterish finish. Lovely flavours, but a bit sticky. I don’t like sugar in my coffee...

Bottle, 8.3%. Good coffee and sweet liquorice aroma. Almost black colour, small unstable tan head. The flavour starts off with a good, sweet liquorice note and then turns into a nice, mild yet flavourful coffee note.

black, big tan head, nice lace, big roasted coffee aroma, creamy body, lots of coffee flavor, low bitterness, nice chocolate comes from behind and adds some richness, slightly sweet creamy character mixed with the coffee makes for a great coffee with cream

dark ruby, thin fine beige head, sweet chocolate aroma, touch of licorish, thin body, good chocolate flavor, light bitterness, touch of sweetness

aroma is subdued but may be too cold, warming helps the aroma a bit but really brings out the roasted and coffee in the flavor, turns into a great creamy cup of coffee

coffee and chocolate are in great balance, great roasted coffee character but it does not take over the base beer
