UPDATED: JUN 4, 2006 A clear red-brown beer with a lasting brown head. The aroma is sweet with a slight hint of chocolated. The flavor is sweet with notes of prunes as well as hints of chocolate, there is a slight sourness in the background. I’m missing some coffee in this one.

Bottled. Dark ruby, rich firm head. Aroma of coffee and blackberries. Sweet and dense. medium bodied wit somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. Coffee is evident, but does not assault, tobacco chimes in. Salty bitterish finish. Lovely flavours, but a bit sticky. I don’t like sugar in my coffee...

Black color; creamy head; nice lace. Aroma and taste show a good malt and caramel, with some delicate coffee/roasted malt; good mouthfeel; well mixed together; good hopping. Very good.
