OnWisconsin (132) - Wisconsin, USA - NOV 26, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 23, 2012 Appearance was black with ruby red around the edges with an off white head that disipates quickly. Aroma has a hint of vanilla up front followed by coffee and roasted malts. Taste is sweet early and follows with a nice coffee finishing with some cocoa bitterness. Can taste a little heat from the alcohol but not bad with it being 9.2 abv. A great stout with a nice mouthfeel with little carbonation.

Bierkrug (2108) - Garmisch-Partenkirchen (In USA), Bavaria, GERMANY - APR 15, 2014
On tap in Coral Springs, FL. Pours near black with red hue. Tan head with a little lacing. Aroma of chocolate candy, bread, and slightly toasted malts. Moderate coffee taste is balanced with chocolate and malt flavors. Some soy sauce on the front end. Palate is too dry but good.

Mastelefish (53) - North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 12, 2014
Pours a dark black with a frothy off white head. Smells of darker malts and coffee in general. Body is quite thick and almost syrupy. A delicious combination of coffee and beer. Even though it is 9.2%, its booziness does not show through.

Hopman1 (28) - apple valley, California, USA - APR 10, 2014
I give this brew a high rating due to how much Im actually enjoying this bad boy . The color is dramatic and appealing to the eye ,dark brown , like the eyes of a lovely Latin mamasita I once dated . The aroma was just as pleasing a dark earthy note ,barnyard and notes of coffee and dark Chocolate leaving a slight bitterness on the tongue as she did. Cheers!!!

3/30/1; $6.95 CBO. I drank this after my final BC coffee which was a dumb thing to do. Anyway. Light mouthfeel. Light coffee aroma and taste. Not a bad price for a bomber but nothing too special. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From 22oz bottle to shaker. Pour is a dark amber, nearly black. Nose is huge coffee, caramel, heavy malt. Taste us heavy bodied, bitter and sweet, super balanced. Smooth finish, great beer.

Bottle. Pours dark cola - black across the glass yet I can see through it on an angle. Aroma is sweet malts, chocolate, light coffee in the background, and caramel. The taste adds a little vanilla. The palate is very light and thin for the style with very low carb. The 9.2% alcohol is completely hidden. Pretty good but, nowhere near the Lagunitas hop game standards. They should stick to what they've mastered. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown with good head. Chocolate, coffee, molasses aroma. Bitter, charred malt, chocolate and coffee flavor. Not too heavy and good cabonation. Good beer.
