3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 tbelczak (8) - Buffalo, New York, USA - FEB 25, 2013Lighter in body and color than other stouts. I was expecting a creamier texture. Some roast in the aroma. Head is not creamy and fades quickly. Slightly too bitter, but overall a decent beer.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 tkrjukoff (3360) - SWEDEN - MAY 17, 2013
Bomber 2009 vintage shared with Lotta. Pours black brown with a great creamy beige tanned lacing head. Aroma is intensly coffee chocolate some hints of vanilla roasted malts ashy dry. Flavor is coffee coffe dry ashy yet some underlying sweetness, chocolate from middle together with the strong coffee a bit acidy spocy peppery and pleasantly bitter; very drinkable but still perfect after dinner. Good bitter coffee chocolate finish.

Mouthfeel- Full bodied, creamy, and smooth. Low amount of carbonation.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 pras (284) - Maryland, USA - MAY 12, 2013
I had high expectations for this one. This bottle had about a year of age on it. Aroma was of roasted malt and chocolate. Appearance was pitch black. Flavor was roasted malt, highlighted with booziness. Mouthfeel was slick. This one didn’t really live up to expectations, perhaps it isn’t a beer that suits itself to aging.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 lopisar (65) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 11, 2013

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Linnet (744) - Umeå, SWEDEN - MAY 10, 2013
Ar: soy sauce, rather powerful herbal notes, coffee, chocolate, roastiness, but soy sauce really dominates the aroma, overpowering the other notes, some vanilla and alcohol, paired with the obvious roastiness in the finish.
Ap: slightly transluscent Brown colour with hints of red, medium creamy beige head That leaves some lacing.
F: one word soy sauce, there’s no other word for it, good in Asian cooking, less so when this powerful in a beer, there’s some roastiness, coffee, licorice and ash as well, bitterness is fairly moderate, alcohol in the finish.
P: pretty average.
T: I had high hopes for this one, boy was I sorely disappointed..
