This ale contains no actual copper but we’re pretty literal... It looked coppery, so we lamely called it a copper ale. Lots’a nice caramel malt though... Originally 5.9% alcohol by volume, currently

Robe cuivrée claire surmontée d’une mousse blanche crémeuse mince qui persiste. Arômes de houblon résineux, de diacétyl et de caramel. Saveurs de malt caramélisé, de diacétyle, d’épices et de levures.

Pours to a reddish coppery body with a light off-white beige-ish head. The aroma is a muddled citrus hops and chocolate-chip cookie dough. Not digging the muddledness of it. The flavor is chocolate-chip cookie dough. Strange light spiciness/grassyness. The palate is lingeringly malty, lightly metallic, minerally.

Pours copper/amber, with a white head. Aromas are caramel, malt, and fruit. Flavors are sweet malt, caramel, hops, and fruit. Taste is not as sweet as the aroma leads you to believe.

Clear amber color with a moderate but stable canvas colored head. Rich caramel and malt flavors a real malt head aroma. Some touches of figs and pineapple float about the nose as well. Hints of alcohol as it warms. Light spice of mace and white pepper clash with the sweet biscuits and marmalade covered scones. The balanced conflict seems to work through the entire quaff. Thee are nice warming features in this ale. Wish it was around in the fall, verses the spring, but I welcome it just the same.

A very rich & creamy, dark beer, but somewhat bland, with little head, and very flat. I think I will have to censore this one forever!

12 oz bottle. Rich deep copper coloured beer topped by a thick white head. Sweet fruity hop aroma, cascadey citrus, peach, orange and some light resiny notes as well. Sweet biscuty malt notes as well, caramel, cookie dough. A bit of zesty/spicy hop flavour is notes as well. Flavour is well-balanced. Sweet malts and just enough hop bitterness to balance. Bitterness is actually fairly light and is followed by a lingering brown sugar sweetness.

"Poured an amber color with almost not head, lacing was okay. Aroma was hoppy and citrusy. Flavor was caramel malts with the citrus hops in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel was a little off not sure what they missed here."

Easily one of my favorites. Pours an amber/reddish color that remains a bit cloudy. Tastes of maltiness, citrus, plum, caramel, and some hop presence. Rich flavor throughout the entire glass.

Bottle: Lots of caramel and toffee in the aroma with a hint of citrus hops. Pours a cloudy reddish-orange with a moderate off-white head that diminishes quickly. Finishes has some very light citrus hops and a touch of roastiness. Decent beer, but a little too malt dominated and sweet. A tad more hops would probably go a long wall.

Bottle. Different label than that in the picture. A hazy copper/amber pour with a very thin tan head. Lots of malts, caramel and brown sugar in the aroma. Medium-bodied. Tastes like it smells - full of malts. Enough herbal hops to keep it from being too one-sided though. Lots of sweet caramel and some brown sugar present. Just a touch of warming alcohol in the slightly bitter and grainy finish. Solid and enjoyable.
