This ale contains no actual copper but we’re pretty literal... It looked coppery, so we lamely called it a copper ale. Lots’a nice caramel malt though... Originally 5.9% alcohol by volume, currently

Bottle (12oz). Clear copper with a decent lasting creamy beige head. Mild soft juicy malt aroma, hint of chalk and light citrus hops. Tastes of caramel light roast malt, a bit of cedar, and building light dry floral/resin hops, very dry and sweet, bitter finish. Average body, slightly watery finish, lightly astringent and only mildly carbonated. Pretty nice - very malty indeed.

Dark copper colored body with a fluffy, slightly off white head. The aroma had sweet caramel with some honey. There was also some pancakes and Karo corn syrup. The taste had some toffee and iced tea. There was also some English walnuts with a slightly bitter finish. The body was smooth and light. The alcohol was very well hidden and makes this seem like a lighter beer. Well made.

This is the first I have had of this brand. It poured a copper color with a thick creamy head. Not a lot of nose that I could detect. The first sip was fruity with nice hop balance. It becomes a little more bitter as you go along, not sure why but it is pretty good. Great lace on the glass.

Bottle. Pours a medium copper with a hint of ruby. Head is a full, pale tan that dissipates to an enduring small head. A little lacing. Aroma is caramel and malt with a touch of fruity esters. Malt is the main feature up front but it finishes spicy/peppery with an alcohal warming. Good beer!

Bottle at the LI Beer Festival. Pours medium copper with a white head. Aromas are caramel, malt, and fruit. The flavor follows the aroma: malt, caramel, hops, and some fruits. Maybe a bit lacking in the hops, but overall very enjoyable.

Robe cuivrée claire surmontée d’une mousse blanche crémeuse mince qui persiste. Arômes de houblon résineux, de diacétyl et de caramel. Saveurs de malt caramélisé, de diacétyle, d’épices et de levures.

Pours to a reddish coppery body with a light off-white beige-ish head. The aroma is a muddled citrus hops and chocolate-chip cookie dough. Not digging the muddledness of it. The flavor is chocolate-chip cookie dough. Strange light spiciness/grassyness. The palate is lingeringly malty, lightly metallic, minerally.

Pours copper/amber, with a white head. Aromas are caramel, malt, and fruit. Flavors are sweet malt, caramel, hops, and fruit. Taste is not as sweet as the aroma leads you to believe.

Clear amber color with a moderate but stable canvas colored head. Rich caramel and malt flavors a real malt head aroma. Some touches of figs and pineapple float about the nose as well. Hints of alcohol as it warms. Light spice of mace and white pepper clash with the sweet biscuits and marmalade covered scones. The balanced conflict seems to work through the entire quaff. Thee are nice warming features in this ale. Wish it was around in the fall, verses the spring, but I welcome it just the same.

A very rich & creamy, dark beer, but somewhat bland, with little head, and very flat. I think I will have to censore this one forever!
