This ale contains no actual copper but we’re pretty literal... It looked coppery, so we lamely called it a copper ale. Lots’a nice caramel malt though... Originally 5.9% alcohol by volume, currently

A: Carmel colored... I guess you could say "copper" in color, very small cream colored head that lasts only for a couple of minutes resulting in a little bit of lacing on my glass. S: Sweet caramel malt. A hint of pine hops but, mainly carmel malt though. T: Sweet carmel malt gives way to a slight pine finish. A sweetness comes back at the aftertaste. Pretty well balanced... M/D: Light to medium body as expected... Not very carbonated...almost seems a bit flat. Not my favorite Lagunita’s brew, but palatable. Serving type: bottle

Bottle at Len. Deep dark amber, cloudy, fine head. Citrus nose, grass, grapefruit, apple. Light earth and caramel. Balanced malt flavor, ok hops. Not bad, but unexciting.

12 oz bottle poured. Pours a thick oily copper color with a thin layer of foam head. Rich caramel malt aroma. Flavor matches up front, but has a lingering bready flavor finish. Less sweet than the initial impression. Refreshing beer from sure. Most important note I took from this beer: pairs nicely with a Bengals win.

Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Toasty malt nose, with light brown sugar, and a hint of chocolate. Reddish-brown color. Rich malty initial, light buttery note. moderate hop jumps in mid palate and final. Medium body. Love the hopping in this one.

Bad. It is a mix between a Carmel beer, stout beer, and a blonde beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not perfect, but one of the better beers I've tried recently. I'd definitely recommend it, along with every other beer from this fine brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flaska@Svenska Hamburgerköket. Kopparfärgad vätska. Doftar sädigt hö. Lätt karamellig inledning. Neutral beska som dröjer sig kvar. Lite meh, hade förväntat mig mer.

Pours amber/copper orange with a small white head. Head retention is ok. AROMA: earthy, herbal hops, malty, caramel, spice, orange, citrus and light molasses. TASTE: earthy, caramel, herbs, citrus, malty, spice, orange, molasses and peppercorn. AFTER TASTE: caramel, spice and citrus with a dry finish.

Bottle from Cork 57. Copper body indeed with faint head. Nose is nice and hoppy. Taste is hops, and malts and caramel and citrus. Nicely carbonated and texture. Bitter in the finish. Really well done.

Amber w decent head. Malty sweet aroma w hints of caramel. Smooth slightly sweet. Pine. Some fig. Noticed hop bitterness but not over the top. Good balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
