3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear dark copper amber color with light tan head. Sweet malty caramel aroma. Slightly creamy mouthfeel followed by medium body caramel malt and citrus type bitter. I would guess a decent amount of early boil hopping and very little late. Nice drinkable ale but too boozy to be sessionable.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Total Wine. True to the label is pours a lovely copper color. Small white head the dissipates quickly. Not much by way of aroma, but is had lots of flavors on the tongue, though they don't quote balance. It is sweet, then malty with an earthy finish.

From a mystery twelve pack, but it had three bottles of four different beers. Ha! Hoppy amber ale and nothing more

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 10C. Clear pale amber with an inch of white head. Aroma of toffee with some earthy and spicy notes, vague citrus. Some peach and orange peel too. Sweetish and quite fruity with stone fruit and caramel, dryish finish with grapefruit creeping up a fair bit. Like a very strong bitter. Caught between three stools really: too strong to be sessionable; too hoppy to let any richness of the malt shine; too sweet for the hops to sing. But it’s OK.
