This ale contains no actual copper but we’re pretty literal... It looked coppery, so we lamely called it a copper ale. Lots’a nice caramel malt though... Originally 5.9% alcohol by volume, currently

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2011 Bottle. Poured a rich copper in color with a very small (less than 1 finger) white foamy head and had poor lacing. The aroma was of roasted bread malts, a grassy hop and a moldy yeast with notes of caramel, orange and a bit of honey. It tasted sweet and malty with a note of caramel in the beginning then progressed into a bitter-sweet-malty flavor with a nice hint of citrus and a touch of honey at the end allowing the flavor to last a decent amount of time after the swallow. Mouthfeel was medium to full in body and dry in texture with a mild carbonation. Overall a brew with a nice smooth hoppy aftertaste. One to put on the my favorites list.

Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Toasty malt nose, with light brown sugar, and a hint of chocolate. Reddish-brown color. Rich malty initial, light buttery note. moderate hop jumps in mid palate and final. Medium body. Love the hopping in this one.

Bad. It is a mix between a Carmel beer, stout beer, and a blonde beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not perfect, but one of the better beers I've tried recently. I'd definitely recommend it, along with every other beer from this fine brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flaska@Svenska Hamburgerköket. Kopparfärgad vätska. Doftar sädigt hö. Lätt karamellig inledning. Neutral beska som dröjer sig kvar. Lite meh, hade förväntat mig mer.

Bottle from Cork 57. Copper body indeed with faint head. Nose is nice and hoppy. Taste is hops, and malts and caramel and citrus. Nicely carbonated and texture. Bitter in the finish. Really well done.

12 oz. bottle that I got locally, either at Dutch’s or the Party Source. I’m not sure how I never had one before now. Anyway, it pours a clear amber with a small off-white head that leaves a half ring and a small island of film. Notes of tea, toasted and amber malts, brown sugar, leafy and floral hops. Light-bodied, with moderate cabronation and a smooth, tea-like mouthfeel. I guess I’ve never made it a point to try it because it’s an amber ale, but it’s a damn good example of the style, as expected.
