UPDATED: APR 28, 2012 It doesn’t smell too attractive, the appearance is great. It has a strong taste compared to similar "amber ales" (ie. george killians and longboard). It tastes more powerful than a typical copper ale and I favorite it over the two listed.

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden to amber beer topped by a dense, finger-thick off-white to beige head. Mostly malty aroma, crystal malts. Some hoppyness, with fluor, pine cones and grass. The flavor has a nice bitterness, but is a bit dull. Caramel, some roasted malts and a touch of some herbal notes. Medium to full body, a bit low on carbonation. A rather boring one. Sure drinkable though. 111112

Riktigt god

Sampled at tasting room. Amber with creamy biege head. Raisin, grape, popsicle (artificial sweetner) sugar. Very sweet throughout, well carbonated, dry ending, but the artificial/bad port taste ruins what could have been a quite tasty beer.

yackery (126) - California, USA - APR 29, 2011
12oz bottle pours a razor-thin, instantly-dissolving head with a likewise fast lacing that has a peak at the top of the crystal-clear, copper-penny body. Aroma is an Abbey Trippel: malty and floral. Taste is mildly bitter. Palate is clean, light, and lively. Pretty good ale.

Bottle$ pours a deep brown amber color. Smells of toffee, carmel and malt. Taste is more like an amber ale then american strong. Im rating the rich copper ale btw.

Toffee, caramel, vanilla and oak dominate the nose. Mildy smoked notes waft in and out with huge vanilla and marzipan. Nice clean finish.
