COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

On draft. Pours light yellow, thin fizzy head. Aroma is light floral hops, some pine. Taste is quite dry, clean, floral, a little grassy. Pleasant enough, but thin and less hoppy than the best sessions.

[Bottle (12oz)] Pours a cloudy yellow-gold with an average size diminishing frothy white head. Nice aroma of tropical fruit and fruity hops first followed by bready malt. Flavour follows, a bit lighter and waterier then the aroma suggests but itís still good and enjoyable. Moderate bitter finish. Average bodied. Pretty nice and enjoyable.

12 oz. bottle purchased at Craft Beer Cellar, Portsmouth, NH. Dark brown or dark ruby in color, thin lasting head. Aroma of light floral hops, sweet grain and notes of scallions, grassy.

The body is light and crisp with a drying affect on the tongue. Flavor is pretty much spot on the aromas. Grassy, traces of scallion with a light grain backbone. Bitterness is on the low side with a pleasing tingle of carbonation over the palate. I liked this much more than I was expecting. Very nice session brew.

Taste is malt caramel with passionfruit, citrusy orange, hop resin bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, light bodied, soft carbonation, dry floral hoppy bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Hop water. Big resiny bong water nose. Thin golden body with little head retention. Some light malt to balance. Not bitter. This is all about the aroma hops. Not to my liking.

Bottle. Very faint aroma of lemon peel. Clear golden body. Flavor has a crisp heavy hop feel with a high carbonated mouth feel.

I had it from the bottle. This was a nice and refreshing IPA. You get your hops and some nice grapefruit and other citrus. The citrus was more pronounced here.

355ml bottle at home from Good Spirits Co, Glasgow (£2.60):
I was quite disappointed with this one from Lagunitas, it definitely seems like the worst of 3 beers that Iíve tried thus far from them & came out almost like a watered down version of their regular IPA that I much preferred to this one, as well as being one that I can picked up more easily & for cheaper too. Itís not that I didnít enjoy this one or that I thought it was a bad beer, itís just that I felt it could have been so much better & I was expecting it be.
