4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The golden straw color scared me a bit, but Lagunitas came through with another good offering. Smells like a regular old session IPA, but has much more flavor. Good citrus notes; could be a little heavier on the pine if you ask me. However, the hops give it a perfect finish and itís a well balanced session IPA.

Bottle at home quick little tick grab from coffee shop. Orange yellow and pale. Nose is dank hops and watermelon rind. I really taste a lot of watemelon rind, pine, weed, scallions, lemon zest. Light palate and lingering finish.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A light yellow-orange pour. Think white head. Aroma is hoppy, light fruits, smells sweet. Flavor is mild. Itís crisp and refreshing. A lighter session IPA. The lower alcohol does make it a good choice for summer.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Meditrina. Bright pale clear gold with lasting white head and lace. LIght floral perfumy aroma with some citrus and toasted malt. Very light toasted crackery malt apricot fruity sweetness. Lightly assertive citrus bitterness with very dry finish. Nicely attenuated--one thing I dislike is a full-bodied chewy session IPA--and nice fine carbo. Excellent. A session IPA that I would drink any time.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
I love the concept of this more than anything else, so that earns higher ratings in my book. Because, day drinking is still good drinking. And sometimes a 7% beer, or something, is just not what you want. This lower ABV IPA is a great idea for those of us in this situation. Still got the nice flavor and feel of an IPA, the look and the appeal.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Straw with a greenish tinge, tall head.
Light body and flavor, crisp mouthfeel, long and bitter palate.
Bitter, dry, nice acidity.
Very yeasty, hoppy but malt is present in a creamy background.
Beer I would go to when in need of something like a lager.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Over carbonated. Watery aroma and appearance of a Mich Ultra. The carbonation overpowers whatever hop profile was attempted.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Aeon Liquors. Pours a clear straw color with a small white head. Skunky aromas on the nose with some light grapefruit. Skunkiness kills all the nuance. Light body. Very Heineken like. Itís almost like a Heineken was put inside this. Bottle was skunked at AEON liquors iím sure as Nagano Trading know what they are doing. Disappointing though.
