3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 eelbasher (105) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 30, 2012
12oz bottle. From the bottle so no pour this time. Aromas of caramel, pine, citrus rind, and a slight floral note. Flavor is full of piney/citrusy hops. The body is light and finishes smooth. This reminds me of a Sumpin’ Light. Thanks much Lag!!
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mansquito (2491) - Nueva York, New York, USA - SEP 30, 2012
New Beer Distributors, NY 355ml ($2.25): Pours a copper with a nice white head. Aroma is citus, resin, and a bit of pine. Malt backbone is light, but substantial enough not to be watery. Hoppiness is moderate and well-varied. The beer is nice and sessioable and could probably be drank at any time (I drank it at 3 in the morning, so I violated the spirit of the beer).
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 beerbastard (498) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Poured bright gold. Very strong oily grapefruits and pine hop nose. Then things start to unravel, way to thin, unbalanced hop to malt. No support from the malts. Almost undrinkable. This didn’t work for me.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 brigg (460) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 30, 2012
(bottle) Clear, bubbling straw body, small white head. Very fruity nose. Citrus (orange, grapefruit) and some pine hops, strawberry, grape, toasted grain. Light body, carbonated. Dry hop flavor, medium bitterns, grain, bread, undertones of fruit. Very dry.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Ernest (5605) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Bottle.
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting.
Body is medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (resin), with notes of celery and squash.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, unclean.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Wow, Lagunitas really squandered an opportunity here. Instead of offering bright, floral or tropical fruit hops and a crisp flavor balance, they just dumped a shit ton of raw resinous hops in this and sucked all the malt out of it. It’s quite vegetal on top of that. A really clumsy, misdirected attempt at something that could have been a great session beer. A truly sad drain pour.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 nick76 (4073) - Tampa, Florida, USA - SEP 30, 2012
The aroma is incredibly hoppy with grapefruit and floral type hops and light sweet malt. The appearance is straw gold with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma and so easy to drink it’s almost crazy. The palate is thin but OK. Overall a great beer.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Palidor19 (2724) - Brandon, Florida, USA - SEP 30, 2012
This beer has a great aroma with fresh hops are a nice bouquet. the beer itself is actually very thin but very drinkable. The way too many flaws but its still very enjoyable.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 peteinSD (955) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Bottle. Clear, lighyt golden color with an initially large froth of white foam that fades to a slick. Aroma is dry, bitter hops with intermixed resinous pine and underlying sweet malt character. Taste is straight ahead hop bitterness with pine and a lightly toasted and bready malt character lurking in the background. Clean, dry mouthfeel. Drinks with a lot of flavor and if I were guessing blind I’d put it at a 6% abv IPA. I like it!
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Atheist_Peace (698) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - SEP 29, 2012
12oz bottle. Pours golden with white head that leaves a little ring of lace. Lots of fresh citrus and spruce on the nose and not much else. Really sprucey. The same on the palate. Lots of spruce and not much else. Good but simplistic.
3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Reid (1596) - Salem,Oregon, Oregon, USA - SEP 29, 2012

$6.99 a six pack
Pours a clear gold/straw colour with a lovelly thick and bubbly white head.
Gorgeous spicy/resiney hop notes in the aroma a little hay like malt in the backing.
Taste all hop but yu can tell the caramel malt is in the back, but its all kind of wishy washy i am afraid compared to the aroma.
Ok palate..thin and drinkable
Not bad but was expecting more
