COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear straw yellow with a big frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass some.

The aroma is dank, piney, resiny hops and some tropical fruits.

The flavor is a bit mild - some tropical fruits and dank resiny hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation and is a bit watery and washed out.

Overall, I like the lower ABV hoppy beers. This has good bitterness and hop profile, it just seems a bit watery and washed out. I recall liking Founder’s All Day IPA better.

12 oz bottle. Clear pale yellow with a webby white head. Nose is orange, grapefruit, pine and toffee; a big citrus blast. Bready medium light with a brisk tingle. Taste is lemon, pink grapefruit and pine. Clean and easy drinking. I can see this one in my summer rotation.

Slightly cloudy straw color with a frothy head. Notes of sweet tropical fruit, pine/resin, and a delicate malt base. Well balanced and very easy drinking...difficult to do considering the low ABV and big flavor. Easily a new go-to beer.

Bottle at craft ale house. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. There is tons of carbonation in the glass. The aroma is full of pine and some additional hippy notes. The taste is medium bitter with a nice bitter finish. This is fairly one dimensional but I prefer unbalanced India pale ales.

Aroma is citrus, orange, and fruity, with a slight hint of malt. The appearance is pale yellow, with the sightest hints of gold. Light bodied taste as IPAs go (I know, it’s not a true IPA with the full amount of hops), taste confirms the aroma. Nice malt finish.

TheJestersBeer (2034) - SWEDEN - OCT 22, 2012
355ml bottle. Pours a medium straw, with a white head. Hoppy, resiny aroma, spruce, grapefruit peel, grass, lemon, apricot, almost a light smokiness. Dry, medium body, high bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, spicy taste, resin, spruce, grapefruit peel, grass, malt. Lots of taste for a low ABV, a bit over-bitter for the slim body, though. (2012-10-19)

Man! What a great sessionable beer! Not sure how Lagunitas packed that much hop flavor in a beer so light, but they did. Aroma was delicious. Grassy hops, hay and even notes of pollen. Pour was a nice light gold with plenty of rising bubbles and and a one finger white head. Taste was bursting with hop flavor. The grassy and hay flavor was joined by mango and and melon flavors. Very light sticky and prickly malt backbone. Nice carbonation round this beer out. Great beer that I will seek out again.

Bottle. Pale golden body with a thick lasting white head. Aroma and flavour are guided by lovely bold tropical fruit hop character, lots of guava and passionfruit. Underlying malts are light, but the hops here are so aromatically pleasant that it doesn’t matter. This IPA may be light on ABV, but it doesn’t scrimp on flavour. Another great brew from Lagunitas.

Golden body with a small white head. The aroma is Amarillo-esque with some biscuit and toasted notes. The flavor is similar, maltier than it looks. Finishes crisp with light bitterness. Pretty good.

Really liked this beer. It has a real light taste with a just a hint of hops. Laguniitas has an outstanding beer line and I would recommend their beers to everyone. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
