Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

This brew pours a clear straw color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, citrus and sweet malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering citrusy hops aftertaste. Solid Session IPA all around.

Bottle. Pours a near clear light yellow with a slight gold hue with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of pine with some dankness and just a hint of onion with a light grain backing. Flavor has a dank onion note with some light grains and a hint of grass underlying.

A nice session IPA. I like what Lagunitas did here. However this offering does not stand up to their other products. That said, if I want a session IPA, I will definitely consider this one.

This is my second, and last, " session" ipa. To me insipid in all aspects of taste along with a rough unpleasant finish. Anyhow will save some bucks by just sipping a good ipa or apa ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks southbierbro! Pours a bright pale yellow with a hint of haze with a white head. The smell is lemon, wort, hay, grass - fresh. The taste is lemon, grass, hay and wort as the smell indicated. Light in body with average carbonation. An easy drinker that has a fresh taste.

Thanks to John for sharing. Very floral in the nose. Fresh and very dry. Nearly no sweetness. Dry, hoppy intense and floral with lots of citrus. The aftertaste is smooth, very dry, very bitter, floral and great! 13/12/12/13

12oz bottle. Pale golden color with one finger head. Grapefruit and citrus aroma. Lighter taste, but very drinkable. I enjoy this one.

Golden brew with lots of pine and cedar aroma. Taste is loaded with pine hops. So while it smells and tastes great it is thin and watery and for the low ABV it has the big ABV price. Had been looked at this one but had been turned away by the low alcohol content but then HEB finally pulled some packs to sell as singles. Now I can say I tried it and yes it is good but still not something I will purchase again.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2015 On tap at Beer Keyaki shared by Todd from Beercats. A clear light gold with a substantial foamy head & great lacing. Medium bodied. The taste is very bitter, piney, ascerbic but clean. A good session IPA for those who wants bitterness. ---Lagunitas Daytime IPA 4.65% Bottle from CBB 605 yen. It has a great sweet floral/citrusy hop bouquet that is more my speed than the Soul Style IPA from Green Flash. Light straw gold color to accompany a light verging on thin body. This falls prey to the session IPA trap of a body that is too light. The taste is sweet, fruits, herbacious hops and prickly piney bitter hops but well balanced. Tasty. As I continue drinking it the hops build up giving me pine bark & more fruitiness. Very promising in a sessionable ale. Was better the second time around from the bottle.
