COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

glennmastrange (1884) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - SEP 20, 2012
Bottle. Moderate grain and roasted for the malt, heavy pine for the hops, moderate soap for the yeast, with hints of pineapple, ginger and pepper. Head is average sized, frothy white with excellent thick lacing and is fully lasting. Color is sparkling clear light yellow. Flavor is faintly sweet and moderately acidic to start, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, watery with a lively to fizzy carbonation. Looks like a pilsener, but the aroma of this American Pale Ale is very IPA-ish. Great beer.

Bottle. Really good beer. I wish it was a little less alchol but it has awesome aroma and taste. the lacing is great. Orange color with white fluffy head. If this was about 3% I could drink this all day but its still a bit high to drink tons of it. Very nice Job.

Small white head thats short lived with very little lace to speak of.Slight chill haze to this urine, straw colored brew. Nose is nicely piney and floral, quaint fruitiness. Body is light, almost watery, under carbonated and a bit juicy. Tame hop flavors of pine, citrus, lil pissy with a hint of grainy malts lazin about. Dry finish with a crisp bite. Glad to see it got re-catagorized to an APA because thats what it is and not one of the better ones i,ve had. Still a quaffable brew at a fair price. 6er from statelineliquors.

Whoa. Where has this beer been all my life? A sub-5%, dry, well-attenuated, sessionable IPA that is widely distributed and under $10 for a 6-pack? Home run Lagunitas. Home-freaking-run. The pour yields a crystal clear, deep golden body with a taught, dense head of barely off-white froth. Skinny streaks of lace mark the glass. The nose explodes with juicy hops, showing notes of pineapple and clementine, with secondary waves of pine and a bit of dank grass. Underlying malts are softly toasted, kind of white-bready really, and they mostly stay out of the way. Flavors are perfectly balanced. Quite hoppy at nearly 60 IBU, the citrus and pine show plenty of crisp bite, but the deliciously toasted, clean malt base adds just enough roundness. The palate begs for gulp after gulp, plenty light but still hearty enough to satisfy. Carbonation is spot on and crisp. Excellent beer. Get it fresh and drink it by the gallon – or just leave it all for me. That’d be cool too. I’m sure it wasn’t easy to execute in such volume, but they really nailed it on this one.

arminjewell (4159) - Saudi Auroria, Colorado, USA - SEP 16, 2012
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear orange, mainly yellow with nice fluffy lasting white head. Aroma brought notes of big dank pine, sweet orange, grapefruit, some slight garlic notes but not much, hints of simcoe cat pee as well, touch of biscuit and bready notes. Taste is a mix of orange peel, grapefruit, pine, touch of biscuit, some slight cat pee, hints of vanilla, grass and pine, finishing very bitter, almost too much. Very refreshing, and nice to drink at only around 4.5%

Pours clear and golden. Has that great, distinct Lagunitas aroma that I enjoy. Lacks the punch of Lagunitas IPA... which is pretty much the idea of this beer. It’s good.

BMan1113VR (7377) - Los Angeles, California, USA - SEP 16, 2012
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2012 On tap at Lagunitas. Clear gold hued pour with a white head. Aromas are fruity, hoppy, and grainy. Nice citrus hop character, low ester. Flavors are grainy, toasty and dry. Good fruity hop character, light esters, medium bitterness. Lively bubbles, dry and a bit thin.
Bottle rerate: crystal clear yellow pour with a fully retentive large white head. All hops on the aroma: mango, grassy, tangerine, tropical fruit, pine. All hops. Flavors are great. Bready to crackery malt, light ester, medium bitterness. Grassy, tangerine and mango like hop flavors. Excellent. Light dry and crisp, lower carbonation than I would like.

Floral aroma. Sweet taste with a little pine. A little too floral for me. This one isn’t overly interesting, but could be an all day drinker for sure.
