Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

Pours a very clear, very pale yellow color with a nice foamy head that lingers a long time. Big lemon and grapefruit aroma. Taste is a fresh citrus hop taste. Solid bitterness in the finish. A little toasted malt is detectable. While this IPA is nothing special, its still a very drinkable session IPA.

Bottle. Golden-straw beer with a whitish head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Grapefruit and light malt flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and light pine lingers with light malt.

Surprisingly bitter. Soapy hops and big toasty malt taste fight for attention. Feels a bit watery as might be expected. The lower strength makes it nicely dry from all the hops, but there is a metallic aftertaste unlike Lagunita’s other IPAs.

12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours golden with an off-white head. Aroma of floral and citrusy hops with some pale malts. Flavor the same. Average to almost light texture. A good beer for what it’s supposed to be.

pours a clear pale yellow-straw with a small white head, above average carbonation, and good lacing. smell is of hops, citrus, a touch of pine, and some sweetness in the back. taste is crisp, hoppy, some pine, light grapefruit, grass, and a little malt in the end.

This one is OK. I hoped for more from such a great brewery but this was a bit too malty and out of balance for such a light beer. Still easy drinking and good just not my thing,.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear straw yellow with a big frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass some.

The aroma is dank, piney, resiny hops and some tropical fruits.

The flavor is a bit mild - some tropical fruits and dank resiny hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation and is a bit watery and washed out.

Overall, I like the lower ABV hoppy beers. This has good bitterness and hop profile, it just seems a bit watery and washed out. I recall liking Founder’s All Day IPA better.

12 oz bottle. Clear pale yellow with a webby white head. Nose is orange, grapefruit, pine and toffee; a big citrus blast. Bready medium light with a brisk tingle. Taste is lemon, pink grapefruit and pine. Clean and easy drinking. I can see this one in my summer rotation.

Slightly cloudy straw color with a frothy head. Notes of sweet tropical fruit, pine/resin, and a delicate malt base. Well balanced and very easy drinking...difficult to do considering the low ABV and big flavor. Easily a new go-to beer.

Bottle at craft ale house. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. There is tons of carbonation in the glass. The aroma is full of pine and some additional hippy notes. The taste is medium bitter with a nice bitter finish. This is fairly one dimensional but I prefer unbalanced India pale ales.
