3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking mostly clear yellow color with a light dose of small carbonation to be seen rising to fill a one finger white semi - foamy head that concaves nicely.
The smell had a nice blended dose of sweet citrus to bright bitter pine with a little bit of orange as it warmed.
The taste copied the smell just right rolling over my tongue in a sweet sticky way. There was a nice sweet sticky citrus aftertaste that lead into a sweet refreshing finish.
On the palate, this one sat fairly light and came across pretty sessionable. The carbonation was good for the style and for me as it had enough prickliness but held back just enough to make a great session.
Overall, well how about that. At 4.65 and a Summer seasonal that held up until now. I should would bang this again and can only imagine what it’s like fresh.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
bit of a floral aroma. Very tasty seems light in in taste and the body is rather thin. Seems more of a summer ale and although it is an IPA seems a little on the weak side. Yet a very refreshing enjoyable brew.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The only one of these session ipas to flood the market I really like so far. Achieved a balance and feel of a beer instead of hop water. Very nice dank weed tasting profile.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a bottle a very light straw color with a thin white head. Aroma is very floral, peach and apricot. Light bitter and lively carbonation. Abrupt finish. It’s got potential, and probably nails its goal of being a "day time" beer.

3.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Nice aggressive hop profile in the aroma - problem is it feels a bit thin and lacks a syrupy malt body to carry the hops. It feels a tad thin.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2014 the more I drink this, the more I realize how balanced the resinous hop flavors and malts are - nothing bitter, nothing too ’caramelly’ just a straight forward, light, but resinous brew>>> aroma isn’t big - some nice pine and tangerine aromas with a bit of earthiness - flavor a bit bigger with some nice depth - smooth dry pine, mango jam, and some light toasty malt sweetness - very low bitterness, no dankness - just smooth and very well balanced with a nice sappy hop background - follow up a more bitter brew with this and itll surprise you...

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Light yellow pour with full nose of grapefruit. Nice bitter taste. Med carbonation with bitter aftertaste. A little thin but to be expected for the abv. Well above average session.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden yellow color with a one finger head of white foam. Tons of carbonation bubbles can be seen streaming up through the brew. The head fades over a moderate amount of time leaving a fantastic level of foamy rings of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – For a session IPA, the aroma of the beer surprisingly heavy on the grapefruit hop smell. Along with the more bitter grapefruit are some other aromas of a tangerine and mango sweetness with a little bit of a grassy and cracker aroma as well Overall the aroma is rather nice.
Taste – The taste begins with a smooth bready flavor mixed with a little bit of a grapefruit hop taste. As the taste advances the breadiness remains as a base for the brew, with it being joined later on by a little bit of a grainy taste toward the end. All the while the little bit of orange and caramel flavor that are present upfront seem to intensify in nature as the flavor moves on to the end. Later on in the taste, as the grapefruit hop increases a bit in intensity, other flavors of a lemongrass and a light floral hop taste come to the tongue. With these new found hop flavors and the nice increase in the sweeter and malty flavors of the brew, a very smooth, yet moderately hopped and enjoyable flavor is left to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – For an only 4.6 % abv brew, the body of the beer is on the thicker side with a carbonation level that is on the lower side. While normally a lighter body and very high carbonation would be better for the session style, for amplifying the malt and the hop the slightly thicker (at least for a 4.6 % abv.) and lower carbonation do the brew nicely and really make this a nice session IPA.
Overall – This is so far the best session IPA that I have had. Unlike most session IPA, it has a degree of balance due to a more malty and sweet presence and doesn’t taste like I am drinking hops mixed with water. This was very enjoyable session IPA and one I would certainly recommend.
