4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The gold standard for session IPAs. Rich hoppy nose - I actually preferred the nose to Lagunitas Sucks’, tasted on the same evening - with a balanced hop flavor. Best of all is the ABV - enjoy a 6-pack while watching the game and you’ll have a way better time than your Bud Light buddies (though they might feel better the next morning).

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle poured into my ipa glass. Pours a clear straw yellow color with a medium whit head that leaves light lacing. Smells of pine, citrus and resin. Tastes of the same things in the smell with a good hop presence. Mouthfeel is light with good carbonation. Great flavor for a session ipa on the same level as All day ipa from Founders but with more of a west coast infuence. Great beer.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A golden beer with a small white head. The aroma is big on citrus, some pine, and yeast. The flavor is lemon and pine with a little funk in the finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy lemon yellow color with a foamy white head. Some lacing. Aroma of citrus rinds, hint of pine, and lemongrass. Very crisp and refreshing. The perfect session ale! Taste of lemon and orange zest, pine, grass, and some wheat. Not a fan of pale ales, but I am loving this!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear yellow pour with fair white ring of head. Very nice and sessionable apa. All the Big "C" hops are there. Pretty much a classic or the style. Big citrus and foresty hops. Bitterness with bite, but not really overpowering at all. A very solid APA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Shared 12 oz. bottle at John’s Buffet in Winfield, IL., and poured to fluted glassware showing a light gold, nearly straw color, with some fluffy to bubbly, white head foam, and spotty lacing. The nose was pungent & expressive white grapefruit, with some breadiness lightly backing it up. Light to medium bodied, with suitable carbonation, and medium expression to the rindy & citrusy hop bitterness. With some finishing dryness, a decent, palate cleansing APA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle from United Liquors (New Lenox, IL). I’ve been buying so much All Day, I figured I may as well try the competition. Pours a pale golden straww hue, lively carbonation through the body with frothy whitish head atop, dies to a mellow layer, sits atop small and laces ok. Mellow, brighter whiteness. a gentle golden honey hazed glow. Aromas are big juicy citrus rind and juice, lemon and bigger grapefruit vibe, rind oils, touches of florals, more lemonhead and gentle melon. Faint white grape, bready malt, gentle gumball and tropical fruit waft into more big grapefruit juice. A bit bready, grainy, but very assertive citrus hop presence is quite nice and fresh. Initial is lighter end of the fold showing more melon, fruit and decent citrus kick. Some lemon, kaffir lime and oranges. Some bready malt, white grape, and bready malts. Straw, some grainy cereal elements. Middle is a bit more citrusy, lemony and floral, touches of grass, more melon and some fruity elements. A bit more bready, fainy waft toasty as we move back. The hop bitterness seems to kick in a bit more. Some dryness, medium to decent bitterness. A bit of rind element, decent hopping hits the palate as we start to finish. Nice stuff, fresh, a bit fruity. The nose preaches some really strong citrus elements but tapers out into the beer itself which while still very approachable with a smaller body, is a touch sweet and fruity at times and not necessarily the bitter kick my palate looks for. Still that said this might be up others alley much more. Solid stuff, I’ll stick with All Day though.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On cask at Mr. Goodbar in Buffalo, NY. Oh my, this is tasty. Super citrusy...smells distinctly like orange peel with a hint of grapefruit. A friend says he hates grapefruit but this smells superb. Really light a big hop wallop. Great taste and depth of flavor given the low ABV. A home run for Lagunitas for sure.
