Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

Bottle. Is this a great beer? No. Is this a pretty damn impressive product at 4.65% ABV? I think so. Pours clear pale golden with a small white head and minimal lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and pine. Flavor is the same with a strong herbal note, lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Body is light and overall a bit watery, but hey, its 4.65%!

Bottle. Fluffy white head with good lacing, clear light marigold hue. Catty, some tropical fruit, and grapefruit. Flavor is quite catty, nicely dank and grapefruit with drying earthy finish. Lighter body and a touch cottony. Solid

Pint at Tylers, good aroma, sweet. Citrusy. Grapefruit, orange. Clean yellow gold color, minor head, no lace. Bitter sweet flavor. Light body, thin watery mouthfeel, bitter finish. Nice. Easy drinking , aroma was best part, flavor not.as appealing.aroma had nice Citrusy notes, flavor more steely bitterness.

Bottle. A solid golden color with a diminished white head. A relatively strong hop aroma with grapefruit, lemon, and dry grass. It has a nice little bitter bite and goes down smoothly. The body is relatively light, which was expected. I like it. This beer fills a great niche.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a clear pale amber color with a medium sized frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of fruity, floral, tropical, citrus and resin hops. The taste is toasted malts with citrus, tropical and herbal notes. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, prickly feel. Nice.

Bottle from drabmuh. Thanks Matt! The beer is absolutely crystal clear and pale yellow hued with a small white head. The aroma is fabulous. Hops galore with notes of tropical fruit. Malt? What malt? The flavor is quit nice. Hop forward, extremely light in body. A quaffable summer brew. I definitely recommend this beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear light amber with a pillowy white head that has good retention and leaves a large amount of lacing on the glass. The aroma is mango, watermelon, a bit of pine, and some grapefruit. A hint of pineapple as well. Taste is dry with mango, watermelon, and a bit of pine. There is just a bit of caramel malt. The finish is dry with a light bitterness. Light bodied. Medium carbonation. Pretty tasty for a low alcohol beer, although Iím not sure why itís priced higher than most of their regular lineup.

12oz brown bottle. Yellow pour, big frothy white head. Lots of lacing. Huge hoppy nose, mix of pine and grapefruit, sharp orange and a hint of dank. Taste is highly hoppy with grapefruity notes, some tropical fruitiness and a mild soapiness, bit of orange, light malt. Finishes dryly, medium amount of bitterness carries through, grapefruity hops linger. Light body, medium carbonation. Overall, a nice brew, great aroma, high drinkability, even though the soapiness detracts from it just a tiny bit and the body seems a little thin. Worth trying.

Boldly hopped, especially for such a low-alcohol beer. But thatís a good thing if you like hoppy/bitter beers and want something sessionable and/or low alcohol. Light golden with a thin, quickly fading head. Refreshing and effervescent, and it isnít thin and watery like many ~4% beers out there. Malts are light, crackery and hay-like. Hop bitterness is high -- grassy and somewhat stark. Hop flavors and aromas are very floral. Itís a good "easy drinker" for hopheads.
