3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 drowland (4994) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - SEP 8, 2012
9/8/12. 12oz bottle from Grassroots. Clear golden pour with a surprisingly almost bright white head that sticks around and laces plenty. Really nice hop aroma with citrus, pine, dank hops, a touch of cat pee, and a bit of creamy, caramelly malt. Similarly bold, dank hop flavor with a bit of sour citrus in there as well and more of that creamy malt. A bit light on the body, but that is to be expected. Not bad!

Bottle. Pours light gold with a small head. Great hop aroma. Initial taste had some hops up front and a brief flash of malt, but then the bitterness took over and covered up the malt for the rest of the bottle which was a shame. A good idea for a beer, but a little too bitter for my tastes
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Aurelius (3444) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 8, 2012
This smells like a red ale. Squat, west coast potato masher bottle. Clear gold. Smells like cat whiz -- piney, urea. Sweet, fruity notes at times. Brothy, dry, herbal. Medium body. Flabby and not crisp. Vegetable, light diacetyl finish. Market Square Liquors.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 AWISLguy (668) - Wisconsin, USA - SEP 8, 2012
Bottle from ck1 - thanks bro! Pours a very clear pale golden yellow with a white head. Nice lacing. Aroma has pine needles, resin, some citrus and a vegetalness. Taste is very light and crisp; sweet fruit, resin, lemon peels and a bit of a quirky off-taste (a strange herb?). Finishes very lightly, with more bitterness than sweetness. The idea of this style is very good, and have seen multiple versions lately (Founders, O’so) that probably were started with that terrific San Diego session ale of Stone’s. Easy drinker. Mostly good tasting.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 GT2 (5659) - Riverslime, California, USA - SEP 8, 2012
355mL. Low haze starfruit pour. Medium soapy white head. Leaving complete soapy lace. Nose is heavier kumquat pulp, fresh flowers. Taste is meaty kumquat, very clean with some soapiness. Palate is very thin and refreshing. Like IPA-lite or APA. Not bad. Good session stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 boFNjackson (3580) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 7, 2012
Bottle... Poured mildly hazy, mostly filtered (fractionally?) pale golden/yellow with a white head that faded quickly to a thin lace on the surface of the beer. Grassy, earthy, pine-like, resinous hops on the nose. Flavor wise the hops played the same role as the aroma. Not much body or malt. A nice session beer with a distinguished hop character. Is this their answer to Pale 31?

Bottle from hophead father Conor. Clear straw pour with big white head. Aroma is tons of hops with a hint of onion. I think they used some simcoe hops. Very crisp and refreshing yet hoppy. Can you say beer pong!
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 thetmaxx (670) - West Sacramento, California, USA - SEP 5, 2012
Poured from the bottle, I think they hit the nail on the head of what they tried to brew, I’ve looked for this all summer, a light ipa! Love it! Aroma indicates citrusy hops. Flavour as well. Palate its thinner than a pale ale. Its not to style, but it’s what they tried to brew and it’s great! Looking forward to trying ’Night Time.’
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Aquilo (488) - Berkeley, California, USA - SEP 5, 2012
Clear straw color with very little head. Aroma is lightly floral. Flavor is mildly bitter. Very crisp and refreshing palate. A good beer all around. It’s a bit weaker than what I expect from Lagunitas, but on the other hand, it is very clean, crisp, and refreshing.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Wittales (439) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - SEP 5, 2012
Appearance was pale gold with creamy lasting whitish 2 finger head, lacing throughout. Aromas are inline with IPA style of citrusy spicey hops, slight sweetnees of pale malts. No alcohol present with clean yeasts. Taste are citrus fruits of grapefruit, lemon, grass, pine and hints of resin, soft sweet light malt backbone. Palate was smooth creamy CO2 with light-meduim body, then soft citrusy lasting length finish. Good session IPA west coast style...
