Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

Slightly hazy greenish pale gold with a 1 finger, soapy to creamy off white head. Aroma is big on citrus hops, some light cereal and toasty malt, hints of tropical fruit, floral and grassy hops. Flavor is toasty Pale malt, light bready notes, a hint of berry fruit, acidic citrus hoppy twang and a little grassiness to the finish. Light body, spritzy carbonation, thin, slightly oily, but acidic feel. Good stuff overall, great aroma, but it sort of goes downhill from there.

Perfect session beer for me. Pours clear straw colour, with a white head, decent lacing. Aroma is resinous, grassy, melon. Light, crisp, easy drinking body. Taste is fairly hoppy but is balanced out well with a malt body. Really enjoyed this.

Really nice and hoppy with 4.65% alcohol. Awesome session beer! Light body, I could definitely drink a bunch of these! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is an American pale ale w/ a strong emphasis on hops, even for the style. IT pours a slightly hazed orange golden w/ a small head of fine white bubbles. There is a slight touch of biscuit-like malt but this is really all about the hops, which is not a bad thing at all. It is juicy and full-flavored, esp. and finishes w/ just a touch of sweetness and citrus-rind bitterness. I have said it before and will say it again, I am really liking these dry, sub-5% ABV hop monsters, the thinking man’s IIPA.

A very light but genuinely enjoyable ale. I’d almost call it a hoppy sessionable blonde, rather than a pale or an ipa. Aroma is slightly spicy and flowery leading into a very similar flavor.

Aroma of ropey, resinous hops and honeydew melon. Light yellow, like a filtered wit. Starts bitter but quickly goes citrus sweet. The flavor of these light hoppy ales usually doesn’t follow through on the scent it seems. This is also very light bodied, while crisp enough to be refreshing and not a total wash. It’s good with dinner but if you like taking down a few beers of this strength you’d be better served by wheaty offerings.

12oz bottle 3/7/14 (Binny’s Plainfield Mix A Six)-40° in English Pint-Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is well balanced and easy to drink. Great brew.
