Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

12oz. bottle. Big citrus aroma, fairly well leaps out of the glass, with plenty of lemon and grapefruit, some grassy, herbal notes and just a hint of honeyish sweetness. Clear pale golden in color with a lasting, fine head fed by several streams of bubbles. Flavor profile is fairly simple, with leafy, grassy, almost minty hop tones blended with citrus and very faint touches of toasty, lightly sweet malts, finishing with a kick of hop bitterness. Dry, light and effervescent on the palate, with a light-medium body. This is exactly what it claims to be, just a light, low-gravity, drinkable IPA. Great for warm weather.

Very hoppy citrus aromas. Lemon, tangerine, and Orange peel flavors. Finishes dry with a little bitterness. Overall a very good beer.

Pours clear yellow / light gold with a soapy white head. The aroma has grapefruit, pineapple, funk and pale malt. Its quite dry and very hoppy for a beer less than 5% abv. Medium / light crisp body with a decent amount of fairly soft carbonation for the style. The flavor begins with more balance than the aroma. There is pale cracker-like malt and hops that highlight pine and grapefruit. The finish shows some tropical fruit and is very dry with the malt and the grapefruit pith notes of the hops. Very nicely done.

Clear pour from 12 oz bottle. PRetty serious floral aroma. Light color, minor malts and not as hoppy as scented. A good beer for light session.

Stanley’s Beer Fest 10/6, TAP. Smells good... but faint smell of urine. Upon drinking, more urine aroma. I also get resin, grain, pine hops, and some citrus. Aroma and taste is complex but the body is watery. Not impressed.

Goes to show that you don’t need a big ABV for a really tasty beer. This has a pale yellow pour but don’t be fooled. Take a whiff of the hop goodness to come. The flavor is nicely balanced. Goes down so easy, very dry and refreshing.

Tap: clear light-yellow with small white head. Aroma is grassy and citrus, pine, and cat pee hoppy. Flavor is grass, straw, pine, orange, grapefruit, and a light honey sweetness. Palate has a nice sweetness balancing the hoppy bitter and a somewhat thin body. Nice smooth, flavorful easy drinking beer.

Bottle at home, from my Minneapolis Town Hall glass. Pours deep honey-gold, with a thick, persistent white head, that laces extremely well. Nose is big fresh pine, pineapple, grapefruit, lots to like in the nose here. Flavours of spicy juniper, grapefruit, really makes the mouth tingle. Malt background is perhaps a shade lighter than "appropriate", but I really like how the hops shine through as a result. A thoroughly excellent beer, one that I see buying myself many times in the future.

Light bodied? Check/ Low ABV? Check. Hop forward? Check. Affordable? Check. I think I have a new one for my session beer rotation...

Clear gold body, bright white head, and very nice lace. Citrusy aroma, mostly grapefruit and orange, with hints of pepper, doughy bread and spices. Crisp hops bitterness accompanied by toasted malts, nuts, leafy greens, and black pepper. Medium body, lively carbonation, and a crisp dry finish.
