COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

Aroma: Pine and resin hop aromas with hints of toasted malts in the background. Appearance: Clear gold with a rich white head. Taste: Medium bitterness with a light sweetness. Very well balanced. Palate: Light body, slick texture, soft carbonation, long clean finish. Overall: A nice, quaffable brew. Meant to be light, and it is, but still has the flavors of a heartier beer. Good attempt.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Aroma-Has a nice hoppy citrus aroma. Appearance- Pours like a BMC but with a large white head, looks are deceiving. Taste- Has a great IPA flavor with a nice hoppy aftertaste bite. Palate- A crisp light bodied brew with medium carbonation. Overall- A really strong beer from Lagunitas (duhh, arent’ they all??) this is a must to try.

12 oz bottle. At the Pork and More, Tampere, Finland. Slightly cloudy yellow colour with a small white head. Fruity hops, mild tartness, some sweetness and malt in the aroma. Nice! The flavour is sweet fruity hops, mild bitterness and mild maltiness. Very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Wow. Looks like a fizzy light macro. Glad it isn't. As pale as it gets with a surprising amount of malt to balance the hops. I'm not an ipa drinker, this is an easy top 5 ipa for me. I really enjoyed drinking this beer, I wish more ipas were like this one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

My Bottom Line:
Chewy cereals are surrounded by citrus fruit, flowers and ginger connotations in this fashionable, refreshing Pale Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam sits atop the misty golden.
-Mouthfeel is quite prickly and more chewy than expected.
-The bitterness is moderate, with a few sandy resins.
-The hop fruitiness is also reminiscent of gooseberries.

Bottle.

Great aroma of fruity hops. Taste was hops but not as much as you'd expect from the aroma. Not very bitter and actually a bit on the lighter tasting side. Lots of carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured into a tumbler on 05.31.14. A: 2 finger fluffy white head. Crystal clear straw yellow body. S: Strong grapefruit and malt sweetness. T: Grapefruit and sweet malt dominate. Flower and pine are subtle. M: Creamy. Perfect carbonation. O: This is a fantastic session IPA. It somehow manages to have complexity and it has a perfect balance. The grapefruit flavor isn’t as strong as in other Lagunitas beers, but again, it is a session beer.
