4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear golden yellow color with a one finger white head that quickly settles into a lasting ring. Spotty lacing left behind.
Floral hop aroma with a balance of resinous pine, tropical fruit and pale malt. Spicy hop character with hints of grass, pineapple and lemon peel followed by bread, biscuit and grainy cracker.
Medium bodied but fuller than expected with a complex hop profile countered by a pale malt backbone. Some dry, earthy bitterness up front followed by tropical/citrus sweetness. Thereís a spicy hop bite with some sticky pine needle flavor countered by hints of pineapple and lemon juice before finishing with biscuity malt. Crisp, refreshing, extremely drinkable and packed with delicious hop flavors. I could drink this all night.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
One of the better session ipas ive had. Had the typical lagunitas tropical hop ipa aroma and flavors. As you can imagine just a more watery ipa. Enjoyable

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma is a very earthy/grassy hop. Very pleasant. Looks like a golden pale ale, complete with small white head, but tastes earthy and hoppy, and not much else. Palate is thick from carbonation, but without that would be watery and refreshing instead of thick and heavy.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pale straw colour with a fast-dissipating white head. The aroma is incredible. Lemon, grapefruit, kiwi, and a touch of papaya and mango. Very light malt component with a bit of crackery flavour and some light bitterness. This stuff is awesome. Incredibly hoppy and aromatic yet completely quaffable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear golden yellow with a big white head. I could smell the hops while I was filling my glass. Huge resinous hop aromas of grapefruit, spicy black pepper, and fruity esters (mango?). Light, crisp body that is super clean, super balanced, and super smooth. Little malt and just a dab of fruity grapefruit in the taste. The epitome of a summer quencher. I could drink a ton of these and will starting tonight.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This was a draft pour from THE LOCAL beer bar in Eureka, CA. It came in the pint glass a clear bright light yellow with a small white head. Kind of looked like a cheap macro lager. But when raised the glass up to your nose you know otherwise. This greets you with a big hop laden aroma of citrus. Body is far bolder than it looks, with a smooth slick resinous mouthfeel. The flavor is full of flavor with citrus and pine on a rich caramel malt base and tasted very fresh. The finish is dry and perfectly bitter, and the whole beer is in excellent balance. Very easy drinking and refreshing and shows that a really good beer does not have to be high in alcohol to be good. Perfect session beer for the hop head.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle to a Duvel tulip. Pours a clear yellow gold, almost pilsner like, with a thin, off white head that quickly disappears. Aroma is fruity hops and lawn. There is orange, peach, and a little grapefruit, along with some bready caramel. Taste is kind of muted. Some mild orange and grapefruit flavors are there, as well as bread and a little caramel. Mouthfeel is thin and very watery. Overall itís good but not that great. For the style, Founderís all day IPA is a much better session beer. I wish I didnít pay 12 bucks for a 6 pack of this.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
bottle from Bottle Revolution. Iím really digging this one. Lagunitas has successfully pulled off the super hoppy light-bodied pale ale. Everything here is crystal clear on my palate. The light malts give this a smooth palate and just a mild sweetness to act as a canvas for the hops. Like most Lagunitas offerings, this one is filthy dank. The bitterness is very herby and filthy nasty. The finish gives way to hints at melon. I really hope this one shows up around here, though it is fading into cooler autumn weather and Iíll probably crave more full-bodied beers.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This begins with a floral hop aroma, and pours a clear light amber, with a thin white head. Crisp floral hop presence, very little malt backbone there, and a very light mouthfeel. Itís a very drinkable beer, and one that is quite enjoyable, even if there isnít much there.
