COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

Pours a pale straw with a head that gets flimsy pretty fast. Aroma is pleasant (maybe my favorite feature): hay, hops are floral/herbs, some cheese. Taste is weighted towards sour and bitter. Palate is really watery and thin but refreshing. It’s a good beer. Highly drinkable but not worthy of some of the 4.0+ ratings I read.

Aroma has tropical fruits and pineapple juice. Flavour has grapefruit, resiny tones, gooseberry bush and some caramel. Finishes a bit vichy-like. A session IPA on the sweet side.

Bottle (12 oz) bought @ Cambridge Wine & Spirits. Hotel Room Tasting.

Appearance: Clear pale golden with a small white head and little lacing.

Aroma: Grains, crackery malts, herbal/leafy notes and mild citrus.

Taste: Mild. Crackery malts, herbal/leafy presence, mild citrus and very low bitterness.

Palate: Light body. Medium carbonation. Dry and herbal finish.

Overall: The comparison with FW Easy Jack probably didn’t help as this one is much less aromatic but it’s still a good clean, crisp and quenching beer.

mmmbeer (1283) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAR 20, 2015
12 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a transparent thin yellow color, an enchanting foamy two finger plus head formed from the time it took to pour, relieve myself, muse about taking a photo, grabbed a soda, sat down, lit a smoke and had a few drags, and wrote this (7-10 minutes). Aroma of pine and resin. Hits the mouth with a light-medium body, malt is very restrained and light, middle has some light sweetness, finish is only lightly acidic. Old bottle perhaps?
