Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2012 12oz bottle, $1.99 from Olive Tree Market in OB. Crystal clear straw with a small white head. Fresh grassy dry hop nose, nice orange and sprucy hops. Flavor follows suit, adds some non-sweet biscuit malts,, touch of honey. Dry finish, bitterness peaked at a 3-4, not all that bitter, thankfully. Doesn’t have the house yeast character that annoys me sometimes with Lagunitas IPAs. Light prickly carbonation with a light body. Damn fine. Time to pick up a sixer while I can.

12 oz bottle, served in a shaker pint. Pours bright yellow golden with medium fluffy white head. Aroma is faintly sweet pale straw malt, with sharp grassy vegetal hops on the back. Taste is smooth thin pale malt with lightly bitter hops on the finish. Some crisp earthy, grassy notes on the hops, but not much. Quite honestly not my favorite style, but good flavor for what this is here.

Taste is magnificently balanced and full on such a light and refreshing body...rediculous subtlety and firmness on a light palate. I almost never give a "5" on the palate score for something this light but...wow.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear light golden amber, fluffy 2" white head, bands of lace. Aroma of sharp pine hops. Taste is solid malt with a little biscuit that rolls into the palate adding medium pine hops on the swallow before yielding once again to sweet malt. An exceptional brew, considering the 4.65% abv, well worth having over and over.

Flaska på Ölmässan Örebro. Kanske den sämsta lagunitas jag druckit. Men Jag är inte helt vän med ölstilen.

Pours a nice golden color. Aroma and taste are citrus, lemons, and only mildly bitter.

Beautiful smelling beer. Lots of citrus, hops, a little earthy, a little spice. Taste is similarly beautiful. Crisp but light, citrus, strong hops.

Golden with a frothy white head. Very aromatic. Great hop aromas. So fresh. Grapefruit. Light pine. Some earthy spiciness. Just enough maltiness. Flavor follows. Lighter medium body. Pleasant mild bitterness. Fair dryness. Lots of character packed into this session beer. All day enjoyment.

12 oz bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. Clear golden with a fluffy white head. Pungent citrus hops with a bit of pine and pepper, a little dank, light grainy malt. Medium+ body, crisp carbonation. Citrus, a touch of cat pee, lightly spicy, light malt backbone; dry with moderate bitterness and a citrusy, lightly dank finish. Nice job.

This is exactly what the description says. It has that hoppy bitterness but not too overwhelming. It has less ABV than and IPA so you don't get completely stupid. You can drink quite a few of these and be very happy with it.

Purchased in town yesterday evening. $10.29 for the 6pack (a bit much perhaps?). To long-stemmed red wine glass, it pours a an effervescent proccess yellow/mellow yellow with which a foamy snowy white head 1 finger in length stood. Aromas of fresh cabbage, wheat grain, hay, unripe pineapple, bay leaves, American hops, and sourdough culture. Tastes the same with the addition of melon rind, minerals, cilantro, lime juice concentrate, and white tea. This could best be described essentially as drinking a mildly earthy stale citrus-flavored seltzer. The mouthfeel is there, and it’s ever so soft and palatable, but the hops were definitely a tad muted upon consumption. Had a more versatile tropical nose.
