4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
A very light but genuinely enjoyable ale. I’d almost call it a hoppy sessionable blonde, rather than a pale or an ipa. Aroma is slightly spicy and flowery leading into a very similar flavor.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
BOD 230/14. Crystal clear light amber, golden, pour. World Class massive head, lacing and retention. Outstanding complex nose of citrus (grapefruit, tangerine and light tropicals) over a light biscuit sweetness coupled with a spicy note. Light body with a slightly heavier than water texture when very cold, but thickens up to slightly slick at room temperature. Slightly above normal carbonation with just a bit of effervescence in the middle and a nice burst in the finish. The nice flavor profile is reasonably intense, complex and balanced. For a session ale, it’s rather flavorful. It begins with a blended citrus hop flavor that fades into mild bitterness. As the bitterness fades in the middle, it takes on a rind note over a nice biscuit background sweetness. The finish is crisp and leaves you with a nice lingering tangerine bitterness. Lagunitas has another winner!

Bottle. Pours clear. Straw color. Had lots of bubbles in the bottle, but that didn’t translate to the shaker and has no head. Full IPA hops aroma including the typical floral and pine scents. Caramel and lightly toasted malt aromas in there as well. Flavor is a lighter hops experience, but not watered down at all. Nice malt balance and a lager-esque yeast flavor. Palate is light and refreshing. Overall right on target for what is advertised.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle, served in a shaker pint. Pours bright yellow golden with medium fluffy white head. Aroma is faintly sweet pale straw malt, with sharp grassy vegetal hops on the back. Taste is smooth thin pale malt with lightly bitter hops on the finish. Some crisp earthy, grassy notes on the hops, but not much. Quite honestly not my favorite style, but good flavor for what this is here.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Taste is magnificently balanced and full on such a light and refreshing body...rediculous subtlety and firmness on a light palate. I almost never give a "5" on the palate score for something this light but...wow.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear light golden amber, fluffy 2" white head, bands of lace. Aroma of sharp pine hops. Taste is solid malt with a little biscuit that rolls into the palate adding medium pine hops on the swallow before yielding once again to sweet malt. An exceptional brew, considering the 4.65% abv, well worth having over and over.

Flaska på Ölmässan Örebro. Kanske den sämsta lagunitas jag druckit. Men Jag är inte helt vän med ölstilen.

Beautiful smelling beer. Lots of citrus, hops, a little earthy, a little spice. Taste is similarly beautiful. Crisp but light, citrus, strong hops.

Golden with a frothy white head. Very aromatic. Great hop aromas. So fresh. Grapefruit. Light pine. Some earthy spiciness. Just enough maltiness. Flavor follows. Lighter medium body. Pleasant mild bitterness. Fair dryness. Lots of character packed into this session beer. All day enjoyment.

12 oz bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. Clear golden with a fluffy white head. Pungent citrus hops with a bit of pine and pepper, a little dank, light grainy malt. Medium+ body, crisp carbonation. Citrus, a touch of cat pee, lightly spicy, light malt backbone; dry with moderate bitterness and a citrusy, lightly dank finish. Nice job.
