COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

Bottle. A solid golden color with a diminished white head. A relatively strong hop aroma with grapefruit, lemon, and dry grass. It has a nice little bitter bite and goes down smoothly. The body is relatively light, which was expected. I like it. This beer fills a great niche.

This is a good overall IPA. Nothing overpowering. It is a good beer that will go with just about anything, almost all year long. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. A more or less clear one, golden in color and topped by a small, white head. The aroma is rather hoppy, piney, citrusy hop pellets, with little room left for the malts. It has a nice, suitable bitterness, itís quite dry, and with a nice carbonation level. Some citrus peel, a good dash of pine cones, some pale malts and a touch of bread in the flavor. Lasting hop dominated finish with a nice drying bitterness. Some oily, citrusy notes too, like chewing on orange peel. Didnít like that very much, but itís just a touch of it so no points deducted. Anyway, itís a quite refreshing beer that I could drink a bunch of. 150622

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grape, pine and orange. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long citrus, grape and piney finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

DayTime is suitable name for this session-able brew. It pours the color of sunshine with a fluffy layer of cloud cover on top. Aroma is like the stuff that grows in the sunshine: grass, flowers, and trees (okay, pine). Flavor captures the best of each. Grassy freshness, floral nectar, and bittersweet pine sap. There are also some toasted biscuit flavors from the malt and hint of green tea earthiness. The mouthfeel is crisp and supremely refreshing. Not too sticky, not too bitter - it hits the happy medium in about every way. If you need some hops in your life before sundown, DayTime is the way to do it.

Bottled. Pours an exceptionally pale gold. Light cat pee aroma, with soft tropical fruit notes. It has a thin body, yet is very satisfying, with a rounded mouthfeel, that gives a jammy finish. The comparison below to Coors Light below is very bizarre.....

Aroma: light tropical fruits, some minerals, light pine. Appearance: clear gold, small, frothy head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: soft carbonation, light body, tropical fruits, light bitters coming up, some citrus. Overall: excellent Session IPA, light and yet quite complex. Bottle at The Carpenters Arms, Marylebone.

This is the worst attempt I have found for a session IPA. In my opinion Lagunitas is one of the finest craft brewers and I find it hard to believe they would release a product that looks, smells, and tastes like Coors Lite or hopped up bong water.

Very pale golden, no rousable head. Nose is creamy sweet, grassy and wet breadcrumbs. Initial taste isnít robust, just feels itís way in nicely. Short stack bitterness, clean and lean mouthfeel and unstressed carbonation. Finishes a bit more of this fruity sweetness, prickly pine and focused on smashability. Clean smash good times. Bottle, Cornelius.
