4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 johnbuck100 (166) - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 10, 2012I had trouble with this beer - do I rate it based on its goals? a 4/12%ABV IPA/PA? Because if so, I this ranks right up there with one of the best 4.5% beers I have had. Hell, it has an incredible hop aroma when I popped the top, and 10x more flavor that any 5% corn-based slop produced by the majors. Just as I expected, very crisp, clean, dry as they come - and I agree with other reviewers - this could easily be a nice hoppy pale ale. The appearance was pretty boring with a clear yellow pour, but I quibble. a very nice lower alcohol product, and I am glad I bought 2 sixers of this limited release. Please make this a full-timer, guys!
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 mikey (504) - farmington, Utah, USA - MAY 20, 2013
The nose starts with a big, juicy citrus hop blast with some underlying pine notes. The starts with plenty of grapefruit and orange zest. The malt character is very light, grainy and crackery at best. As it warms, once again, the bitter, slighty resinous "greener" and grassier hops add to the flavor profile. A little thin, but very tasty.

I had this at Global Brew. I thought this was a pretty good IPA. I would drink this again.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear light yellow color with two fingers of white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus/tangerine, earthy, with a nice malt backbone.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 JStax (1671) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - APR 19, 2013
Poured on draft. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is very citrusy and lemony with just a sweet malty backbone. Taste’s kind of like somebody put some lemon zest in here. Fruity and just slightly bitter. It would be good on a hot day.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 MaltOne (146) - Wisconsin, USA - APR 16, 2013
Pours clear light-gold, actively effervescent, ample white head. Aroma is citrus and light yeast. Flavor is same. Palate has malt substance with a nicely bitter finish. Overall, a very nice beer. The concept of a refreshing, crisp beer that has an ABV that doesnt dictate the rest of your day. Also best drunk cold, fresh and with a thirst - left to linger, the beer shifts towards skunky.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 nike (746) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 12, 2013
12oz bottle, golden pour, small white head. Excellent aroma and taste of hops, (lighlty done), but still satisified many hop heads out there. Well balanced, toast, lively, slight bitter finish. Could definitely drink many of these in one sitting.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Steve_0 (1267) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Bottle at home with my dad. Pour is clear golden straw color with a small white head and great lacing. Grassy, lemony, slightly herbal, biscuity, straw, hay, weed, and citrusy aroma. Taste is citrusy, lemon peel, biscuity, spicy, wet dog, grass, weed, and stake bread with a light bitter finish. Thin body with high carbonation. Starts to taste a bit watered down as it warms, but a pretty nice seasionable beer - this one should be nice for the summer time.
