Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

Pours a clear slightly orange yellow with a few fingers of stark white foam. Slightly sweet, floral hops in the nose. Some light fruit in the flavor, hint of apricot, that fades into a light bitterness. Very nice, easy to drink session beer.

Straw, clear with lots of carbonation and frothy head. Quite malty belying its appearance. Peachy hopping. Very nice. Rich taste for low ABV. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Lagunitas, Petaluma. Almost clear light golden liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, lemon peel, mango, light grain, pineapple and pine. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of citrus, tangerine and bread. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice. Modern. Quaffable.

Bottle at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a fluffy white head. Dry pithy citrus aroma, a little peach, tangerine, dry pale malts. Light sweet flavor, clean and dry, with more pithy citrus, some grapefruit, lemon rind, pine needles. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean finish, with fresh and pithy citrus hops, mellow pale bread, nectarine, grapefruit. So clean and drinkable.

A very good session IPA. Pours light straw. Decent white head with good bit of carbonation. Nothing great in appearance. Aroma and taste however, very good. Aroma is nice and hop heavy with floral and citrus aromas. Tastes nice and full for a session with a descent bitter and dry finish. Good beer.

Citrus, tropical fruits, piney aroma. A little bit of bitterness and malty sweetness. Good balance and no watery taste. Great sessionable IPA.

12 oz. bottle from SoHo Organic Market, Elizabeth City, NC. Golden yellowish-orange pour with a short off-white head. Wet grass, orange and lemon zest on the nose. Taste is good with balanced bitter hop and sweet malt profiles that honestly taste like a session IPA. Since the release of Born Yesterday this seems less relevant but is a decent and easy drinking beer all the same.

The golden straw color scared me a bit, but Lagunitas came through with another good offering. Smells like a regular old session IPA, but has much more flavor. Good citrus notes; could be a little heavier on the pine if you ask me. However, the hops give it a perfect finish and its a well balanced session IPA.
