3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Enjoy this one more than their IPA. Much more malts than hops in this one, but it has a pleasing, full mouthfeel.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very very nice. Malty, as others have noted, and great for times when you donít want a huge hop aroma and taste...in other words, well balanced. Liked it alot, it just ípaledí in comparison after the Humboldt pale last night.

Rich & malty with a fresh, handcrafted taste. Wholesome, bread-like aroma with a bitter edge. Wouldíve liked to see more aroma hops in this one.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JAN 20, 2007 As I am drinking one right now, I am sort of disappointed. Maybe because I just had two of their kick ass IPAís. Very malty and well balanced. I just like more hops, thatís all. Pretty average though.

Really dwindles in comparison to their sublime India Pale Ale.

solid malty/hopped nose with biscuit nuances; has what seems to be a real cara pils head, not just suds; intriguing sunset color; densely malted (a touch of chocolate malt even?), very complex in mouth; really grows on one, great balance and depth; as Cartman says, íKICK ASS!í
