Pours a clear dark gold color. Small amount of hops in the nose, a lot more in the flavor.

Hoppy aroma with a hint of barley. Medium amber, slightly hazy, appearance. Nice hop bite up front, balanced by a good, malty backbone that had a touch of sweetness (though not cloying). Clean finish.

Nice golden colour, medium-large head - legs! I can see the fizz through the glass. :-) Nice hoppy nose, not much else. Flavor is hoppy and bitter, nice going down. Overall, a good pale ale.

A nice golden/copper color. Some head but not too much. Nice hoppy flavor and some maltiness too. Not bad!

Golden colour you'd expect from an APA, with a very small white head. The smell is a citrusey hoppyness, which is very nice for the style. The taste is a bit watery, after a good hop kick. Not much of a malt balance on this one, but all-in-all, not a bad beer. Now off to find the Lagunitas IPA!

balanced aroma, medium yellow, lots of bubbles, good balance, some light hoppy notes, slight metallic/bitter finish

Pours a dark reddish gold color with a medium tan head. Aroma and flavor are hoppy and full of citrus. Somewhat average for a pale.

Middle of the road pale ale. I mean a nice road. Pretty houses. Some flowers and old trees. Well kept. Enjoyed the crisp hops. A little thin on the body and perhaps over-carbonated just a teensy bit while not employing too much by way of malt backing. Hey, I ain't really complaining. Simple pleasure. I could drink this as a stand by.

Medium, slightly cloudy golden amber. Fairly well balanced, easy drinking APA. Not very distinctive but IMO quite well crafted and enjoyable. Goes well with food and would be good for a session.

From Hollingshead Deli in Orange, CA. Pours a dark gold/amber color with a medium thin light beige head. Aroma is lightly hoppy and citrusy. The flavor is decent but not really breaking new ground. Floral hops, citrus and a little malt. I did like the finish, which was nicely nutty throughout. Beyond that though this is middle of the road stuff.
