2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Aurelius (3147) - Tallahassee, USA - AUG 28, 2003
Appearance points for the pup, ding for the twistoff. Good PA color. Sniffs up a couple of west coast hops and some butterscotch. Diacetyl in the flavor profile, but it was really dominated by a metallic twang at times as it warmed. I was looking for more than this.

amber with small head. hoppier than most pale ales. light a light ipa with great citrus notes and minimal bitterness. extremely drinkable and smooth. fantastic pale ale.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 RyanK (69) - Rhode Island, USA - MAY 4, 2012
Pours a light amber with plenty of carbonation and a large white foam head that is slow to dissipate. Upon opening smells strongly of hops and citrus, a little alcohol, keyword is it just smells Strong. A lot of hops but different from an IPA in that it doesn’t finish strongly bitter and they feel lighter when on the toungue. Fruit/citrus taste is overshadowed by the fact this was probably brewed in aluminum and kind of taste like so. I think it reminds me of Full sail’s pale ale. Pretty boring not bad though.

Great amber color. Smooth with just the right after taste. Nice lacing. I would drink this beer again.

Way thick on the malt. Hops are stretched with every drop of goodness extracted. Off bitterness on a malt I’m not crazy about...seems in balance. Dislike the hops choice.

12 ounce bottle. Surprisingly bitter, hoppy, and highly carbonated. It had a strong citrus flavor that hits right away and last for a while. Good but not extraordinary, it’s not as distinct as most lagunitas I’ve tried.
3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 mikey (448) - farmington, Utah, USA - MAR 12, 2012
The taste starts with sweet flavors of caramel and citrus. There’s a decent hops presence that comes in next with a hearty malt character that provides an excellent balance. Very resinous and tasty!

crisp and hoppy dry american pale ale, lots of mileage out of a low hop count for a lagunitas beer.

Drooled after the pour. Golden orange with hardly any head. The smell turned me off (familiar with it) and I choked this sucker down reluctantly. Can’t pinpoint it. Just a stale nasty taste

Draft at the federal. Pours golden orange with a small white head. Nose is herbal and citrus hops, nice malt balnance. Flavor is similar. Easy drinking and good stuff.
