This beer jumped out of the bottle -- took me 15 minutes to pour it because of the foaminess. At the end, though, I had a nice looking cloudy, light amber beer. The aroma is pine anitseptic -- can anyone say Pine Sol (thanks Kathy for pointing that out)? But assuming one can get past that, the flavor is much more solid -- the pine hoppiness is strong, but is balanced well with the malts. A very schizophrenic beer.

Pours a light amber with plenty of carbonation and a large white foam head that is slow to dissipate. Upon opening smells strongly of hops and citrus, a little alcohol, keyword is it just smells Strong. A lot of hops but different from an IPA in that it doesn’t finish strongly bitter and they feel lighter when on the toungue. Fruit/citrus taste is overshadowed by the fact this was probably brewed in aluminum and kind of taste like so. I think it reminds me of Full sail’s pale ale. Pretty boring not bad though.

Great amber color. Smooth with just the right after taste. Nice lacing. I would drink this beer again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Way thick on the malt. Hops are stretched with every drop of goodness extracted. Off bitterness on a malt I’m not crazy about...seems in balance. Dislike the hops choice.

12 ounce bottle. Surprisingly bitter, hoppy, and highly carbonated. It had a strong citrus flavor that hits right away and last for a while. Good but not extraordinary, it’s not as distinct as most lagunitas I’ve tried.

The taste starts with sweet flavors of caramel and citrus. There’s a decent hops presence that comes in next with a hearty malt character that provides an excellent balance. Very resinous and tasty!

12/29/11 @ paps. Hazy pale orange. Foamy white head. A is pine,gf,florals,leafy/leaves,wood, a bit dank....but mild/pale Fis the same but a touch too sweet by the end. waxy Crisp, quaffable sessionable?...but odd sweetness keeps it short of great. 7/4/7/3/15

crisp and hoppy dry american pale ale, lots of mileage out of a low hop count for a lagunitas beer.

Drooled after the pour. Golden orange with hardly any head. The smell turned me off (familiar with it) and I choked this sucker down reluctantly. Can’t pinpoint it. Just a stale nasty taste

Draft at the federal. Pours golden orange with a small white head. Nose is herbal and citrus hops, nice malt balnance. Flavor is similar. Easy drinking and good stuff.
