Pours thin orange with an off white head. Hoppy aroma with light citrus. Flavor is bitter and dry. A slightly sweet finish. Maybe honey malt. Decent, but not great, considering the great beers Lagunitas usually puts out.

A big and malty pale ale with a thirst quenching hop flavor and a crisp clean finish.

Very solid pale. Surprisingly high ABV for the variety. Think Lagunitas’ IPA without the bitterness . . . that’s this.

Pint draft at the brass tap in Bonita Springs. Light copper in color with a nice white frothy head. Not much aroma to speak of. Light bodied and crisp nice hops balance. Smooth and goes down easy low level of carbonation.

Lighter than Stone’s IPA but nothing to take away from the beer hops are good and citrusy well balanced and perfect for summer.

Bottle from craft. Nice fresh citrus hop flavor, notes of caramel malts and dough. The finish was wet and crisp. Not bad for the style.

Not my preferred style. Clear copper in color with minimal white head. Scents of malts, lemon, and metal. Medium in body, with a dry bitter finish.

Hazy orange, small white head. Dry pine aroma. Generally sweetish with a lightly bitter finish. Certainly drinkable, but not one of my favorite Lagunitas’.

Tap. Pours a transparent golden with a layer of off white head. Aroma and taste of malts.

"a nice crisp malty backbone and bitter hop aroma greet you. body and look is average, but IMHO the flavor and aroma are a step above. a good american pale."
