Brew pours up golden with significant fluffy white head. Head is retained throughout and there is light lacing. Aroma is a little bit hops, a little bit malt, and a little bit oats. Flavor is initially hoppy/bitter followed by a light splash of oats and finishes dry. Interesting.

i smelled the oats on this one as soon as i opend it.poured it into a pint and it revealed a honey colored body with a big lumpy head.the head soon evaporated a bit and began to level out.i was a bit surprised by the taste.not as much flavor or as i expected.then again,i guess the "pale oat" name should have told me that.anyway, not bad but not great.

Are we eating oatmeal? This brew is great. It has so much character, even with the high alcohol content. This, like most other lagunitas brews is inspiring.

Thanks to my future sister-in-law for getting me a bomber of this. Shared with a few friends. Had a triple like taste to it. Poured a cloudy yellow.

Nice smooth, oat/wheat aroma. 1/2 inch white head that is lasting. Pours a light gold color. Very slight alcohol that is noticable, really somewhat normal. Little hop bite, nice balance.

Lagunitas is such a great brewery. This offering is equally loveable. Beer pours a lovely straw, blonde color. Head that dies off quickly. Nose isso very light. Reminds me of pansies and spring right off the bat. Also notes of hop spiciness, raw oats and cookies. In the mouthfeel the feel of the brew is nice and round, very satisfying. Has an excellent body. Man excellent flavor. Lemon, green onions, mushrooms, sugar cookies, raw rolled oats and hops hops hops. The further along I get into this beer the more and more i truly love it. Great offering. Go get it NOW!!! The funny thing is is that this brew and Arrogant Bastard are in the same category. HAAA!!! Grat
