COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The grain bill for Lagunitas Fusion 10 is roughly equal parts wheat and 2-row base malt with a small portion of flaked oats. The beer was hopped with Citra and experimental hops and lightly spiced with grains of paradise. It was fermented with Lagunitas’ house IPA strain.

On tap at World of Beer, Raleigh. Welly well, I’d not have guessed this was a "wheat ale" given how righteously hoppy and IPA-ish it is. But it’s Lagunitas, so . . . I dug it. Golden pour with a light, frothy head. Nose of mild citrus and tons of ripe, grassy bitterness. Some faded paper malts mar it a bit in the taste, but there’s tons of grapefruit and grass to satisfy.

Draft at The Pine Box, Seattle. Golden yellow, white head. Juicy hop aroma, sour ginger, sweet soda pop body with citrus hops dominating. Dry medium IPA

From memory: draft. Pronounced citrus, grapefruit and honey aromas. Refreshing on palate, with a lighter body, yet with a richness that is simply delicious. Very enjoyable. Closer, if not indistinguishable from a west coast IPA in aroma and flavor, though with a mouthfeel of a wheat beer. Yum. --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

Draft at Brouwer’s Cafe. Pours a clear gold color with a finger of frothy off-white head. Aroma of fresh, herbal hops, lemon, orange citrus, sugar, and wheat. Flavor of herbs, citrus, wheat, floral notes, and soap. Light-bodied, with a citrusy, fresh, crisp mouthfeel and medium carbonation. I love the hoppy wheat ale trend. This is a good one.

Tap at Milltown. Orange with a small white head. Nose is wheat and toffee, citrus, lemon/lime. Flavor is similar, buttery wheat is noticeable, strong lemon lime notes. Interesting but not a fave.

Dract at sb. Pours a hazy light amber with loose white head. Big tangy orange and tangerine nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Wheat notes are there but soft, a little nuttiness and tang...but it’s mostly about the bright citric notes. Crisp bright orangey finish.

Draught @ Toronado, San Francisco.
Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow colour with a lacy white head. Aroma of strong pungent lemon, toffee anf wheat. Flavour is very refreshing with malts, strong lemon, grassy hops and toffee. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and a light refreshing finish with some bitterness. A basic summery brew.

On draft at The Local Beer Bar in Eureka, CA. This came in a 16 oz glass as rich gold with a big, foamy, and attractive white head and excellent lacing. Nose of strong citrus and pine. Full body probably due to the wheat. Smooth mouthfeel. The flavor is rich, with some sweetness, and a lot of tropical fruit. Finishes with some spiciness. An outstanding wheat beer.
