On tap. Pours with a clear golden body with a lasting white head. Aromas are fruity, grainy, estery, tea, malty and a bit husky. Flavors are metallic, bitter, oppressive. Grainy, minimal hop flavors but tons of bitterness. Dry. Lively bubbles. Very dry actually. A bit astringent. Not very enjoyable.

On tap at the brewery. Yay!!! Nose light high sugar sweet and high hops. Gold amber with sticky white head and lace. Taste sweet and sharp hops. Slight bite but mostly high sweet. Bit of lemon and pine. Great summer ipa but not special otherwise.

(draught) hazy amber/copper with lasting creamy tan head. Nose of caramel, orange pulp, citrus zest, and a bit bready. Taste of liquid bread, orange zest finish, medium bitterness that’s well balanced, and a touch of caramel. Light carbonation and moderately dry finish. Tasty and easy to drink.

Sampled at tasting room. light amber/yellow with white head. Pot, sugar, wheat, caramel. Sweet with hop ending, carbonation seems off, little thin. Ok.

On tap at Sheffields. Poured a clear gold with a light brown head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma had some earthy grains with a good amount of pine and some supporting resin. Flavor was similar with earthy grains in the start quickly taken over by a strong pine note with some resin coming out in the finish. Slightly sticky on the tongue.

On tap at Sheffield’s. Pours a clear, golden-amber tinted body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is fairly crisp and fruity with a moderate grass and hints of fresh pine. Lightly sweetened pale malts that are a bit grainy with a moderate caramel sweetness as well. A good amount of grapefruits, other citruses, and a touch of peach. Flavor is similar. Fruity and sweeter grapefruit citruses up front with some pines, grass, and a few floral fruits. Caramel and pale malts again with a moderate sweetness and a bit grainy. Fruits grow slightly into the finish where this is a tad sweet while drying nicely with a moderate bitterness. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty nice IPA. Fruity, crisp, and a bit on the sweeter side, but nicely balanced and very easy drinking.

Clear dark golden in color with a well-formed white head. Hoppy aroma with pale malt, grains, and herbal notes. Herbal hops on the flavor with sweet malt, cereal grains, and herbal tea. Medium-plus bodied, slightly syrupy, with average carbonation. Overall, this is pretty much a poor man’s Hop Stoopid if you ask me.
