Draft at Lost Dog Cafe Dunn Loring. Poured a near black brown color with a medium sized tan head. Aroma was some smoke notes, herbal and some earthy malts. Pretty refreshing, a well balanced brew that reminded me of a black IPA more than anything else. Some chocolate, light pine hop. Enjoyable.

Nose is smoked, savory, herbal, fumey alcohol, spruce. Taste is soft, delicate, savory, bitter cocoa, meaty. Palate is ridiculously soft. 7/4/7/5/14=3.7
