JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUN 6, 2013
On tap at Tyler’s, Durham, with ucusty. These guys know what they’re doing with all things pale and hoppy, and it’s nice to get a crack at this session brew. Ranks up there with the recent Drake’s offering. Pale gold, well carbonated, with a light cloudiness in there for an earthy look. Grassy and modestly fruity in the nose, hints of a spicy finish. Light and playful mouthfeel, and indeed there’s nice bitterness in the finish. Balanced and bright throughout, very enjoyable.

Draft. Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus and spruce hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

Cloudy gold pour with lots of lace. Thin head and a big hoppy nose. Sweet sugary notes. Thin mouth. Flavor is full of grass, lemon & citrus. Lots of sweetness from the grain. Full flavor, but low alcohol.

jcos (1592) - Maryland, USA - MAY 28, 2013
Location/Date:Draft at Chef Geoff’s Rockville on May 24th, 2013.

Appearance: Pours a nice clear gold/orange.
Aroma: Aroma of light piney hops.
Taste: Light -medium bitter, not over powering. Like a lite version of
Palate:Light body, lingering aftertaste.

Summary: A really flavorful beer for the style, although I’m unsure how easy it would be to get. Probably not cheap to mass produce either.

On tap at Whetsone Station, Brattleboro VT. Poured golden with a white head into a stemmed tulip glass. Easy drinking pale with grapefruit and big flowery notes. Another well crafted ale from Lagunitas.

On tap at Lagunitas. Pours a golden color with a fine head. Sharp hop flavor without the alcohol to balance it.

Steve_0 (2874) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 24, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Pour is clear yellow with a frothy white head great lacing. Grassy, weedy, light biscuit, straw, and wheaty aroma. Taste is high refreshing, weedy, light straw, resin, and citrus with a light bitter finish. Light body with high carbonation. One of the better session pales I’ve had.

Billed as an "American pale wheat", this is a very drinkable sessionable seasonal summer beer. Light, easy drinking.

They should have named this beer Lagunitas Sucks!!!!!!! Because it does. I was out with a friend and he scoffed at the color. Piss yellow. His first impression of the flavor was liquid lemon jello and artificial hops and I agree. Lagunitas does it again with there mass marketing, mass producing of massive amounts of swill drinking masses. Now that I am done ranting I will say this. It really does suck!
