3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Milltown. Lighly hazy yellow straw pour with think foamy white head. Nose is citrus, florals, lots of grass, light cannabis. Flavor is nicely balanced, on the bitter side of things, again very grassy with citrus zest. Wow, can’t believe this is 3.6%. Pretty amazing body and balance if that is indeed true. Perfect lunch beer and another impressive pale ale from Lagunitas. They should replace their regular ipa and Maximus with this and sucks and I would buy a lot more of their stuff.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Sugar Maple during MKE beer week 2013. Pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is mildly dank with floral hops and paler malts. Taste is a touch dank with floral hops, malt and a moderate bitter finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma of pineapple, citrus and light pine. Pours pale blonde with good head and lacing. A very fruit juice feel overall with light bitter finish. Oats do something unique to this, or at least I think its the oats. Tap at Churchkey.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draught. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a moderate white head. Nose is very hoppy with a lot of floral elements to it. Taste, though, is only very slightly bitter; nowhere near as strong as the nose would suggest. Very smooth and easy to drink. I like it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled on draft at World of Beer in Naperville. Rating from notes. Pours a nice orangish color with a small white head. Bright aroma of hoppy goodness, lots of pine and citrus, some resin. Flavor is light, but hoppy, rich waves of delicious hop bitterness balanced by a mild malt sweetness. It’s clear the focus is on the hops here. Nice, light bodied with lots of carbonation. Finishes hoppy. Interesting beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear yellow with a white head. The aroma is fresh with citrus and hints of coniferous tree, mango and minor menthol aromatics. The flavor is lightly spicy and citrusy with lemon and a very light malt profile. Reminds me of Daytime. Really good.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap at pour house, pours clearish golden with medium soapy white head, not too lasting. Aromas and taste of dank hops, lemons, pine, grapefruit skins, toasty malt and melon. Medium body, nice and dry. This is what a hoppy pale should taste like. Reminds me of a light elder. Excellent

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap. Pours a clear golden yellow with a medium white creamy head and nice lacing. Aroma is citrus and light passionfruit. Flavor is the same, lightly sweet and lightly bitter - not quite up to the promise of the aroma. Light body, somewhat watery in the mouth. Kind of like Daytime in that it has a great hop base that it cannot quite live up to in the flavor, but given that it is a 3.6% beer, this is pretty impressive. I could see myself dropping a six pack of this on a summer day in the yard.
