Served in Maryland under the name Lagunitas Trippa Sabotage 3xIPA, this appears to be the same beer as Lagunitas Fusion 18, Ăśber-hoppy Imperial OatWine. On tap at McGarvey’s Saloon & Oyster Bar in Annapolis, MD. Clear, dark amber with an off-white head and and excellent lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, pineapple, biscuit malt and apricot. Taste of pink grapefruit, orange, pineapple, tropical fruit, biscuit malt and pine. Full/medium body and medium carbonation with a smooth mouthfeel. A remarkably good beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

vyvvy (4134) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - JAN 19, 2014
On tap at Cuginos. Pours clear bronze with a dense off-white head. The aroma has funky hops, tropical notes, smooth toasty barleywine style malt, fresh baked bread, caramel, vanilla and a little grapefruit. It has a medium / full body with a bit of harshness and light sharp carbonation. The taste starts off with big sweet malt, woody oak, dried fruit hoppiness, spice, crackers and caramel. The finish gets very earthy with the hops and is on the resiny side. As the beer warms up the alcohol comes out a lot more and the hops and resin get very intense to the point where it lost the enjoyable traits at the beginning.

On tap at Post No Bills in Sand City, CA. Golden Orange with a nice big off white head. This is one hop bomb, with that Lagunitas profile. Sweet malty, citrus, pine, grass, it seems to have it all. The taste is somewhat balanced, medium to thick bodied with a long lasting finish.

Pours a jazzy golden orange on tap with dissipating white head that leaves good lace. Aroma is heavy resinous hops, citrus on citrus. Taste follows, very nice. Nice thick mouth with good mouth and carbonation that has no hint of the booze. Awesome IPA.

Draught. This is a hop bomb that blisters the tongue and leaves you wondering how they got a beer that grassy. Great stuff.

ACHops (759) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 3, 2014
On tap @ The Hudson. Pours dark orangish amber with thin white head. Aroma is boozy sweet malt and citrusy spicy hops. Taste is crisp big caramel malt, thick mouthfeel, with sharply pungent hops on the finish. Notes of tart lime, earthy grass dominate the finish. Not your run of the mill DIPA. Tart hops make interesting pair with the big syrupy malt here. A bit harsh overall but really nice all considered.

Draft at A Wine Affairs in San Jose. Overt citrus (orange, grapefruit and tropical). Hint of lime. Staunch oat malt adds balance. Hazy orange with film off-white head. Head retains well and laces. Taste is grapefruit and citrus. Moderate high bready support from malt. Medium-full mouthfeel with a semi-dry finish. Moderate-high bitterness. Some kafir lime at the end.

Draft at The Porter Beer Bar with Linh, Scarlett and Mom. Pours a light body with white lacing. Aroma is fresh citra hop and light pine. Light funk, nice follow up to the White Hops from Three Taverns. A bit bigger in overall character, but nice hop profile of citrus fruits, light tropical flavor, melon and pine. Nice.
