COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Special Ale is, in reality, a reconstructed exhumation of the very first ale that we ever brewed way, way back, in 1993. Brewed with a big head, a muscular malty thorax, a silky texture & all strung together with a hoppy sweet nerve sack... yum.

Pours a reddish amber color with a thick ivory colored rocky head. Some earthy hop aromas but not a lot in the nose. Medium bodied with a nice soft mouth feel. A great balance of earthy hop and malt flavors. It finishes with a touch of lingering bitterness in the finish. Well done!

Flaska från SB. Ljusbrun med lite skum. Blommig doft med toner av karamell. Söt, blommig smak med liten beska som dröjer sig kvar.

Fresh bomber poured into a Duvel glass. Pours a somewhat hazy copper red with an inch of thick off white head that leaves nice lacing. Typical aromas of pine, caramel, citrus, and toasted bread. You can tell it’s a red. Upon first sip the beer has a citric, piney quality up front that is quickly met with caramel and bread malts, maybe even sourdough. It’s a tasty red that sticks to your mouth and doesn’t have much noticeable alcohol or anything. A solid beer for the style.

Pours a Deep/clear amber with a pretty good white head that retains well and leaves good lace. nose is a pretty big combo of grapefruit/citrus American hops, and sweet, caramel malts. Body is med/full, creamy but but a lasting hop finish. Mildly sweet malts, caramel, gentle graininess. Hops work well with the roasted malt. Unbelievable Tasting beer, You can tell it’s a Red Ale, but the flavors are all straight forward, so you can also tell it’s an Imperial.

12oz bottle poured a clear light red color with a nice off white head. Aroma of caramel, mild hops and a touch of roastiness. Flavor was nicley balanced with a smooth hop flavor that mellowed to an array of specialty malts. No noticable alcohol taste.

Sort of an underdeveloped hairy eyeball, interesting idea, a little underwhelming on the palate, plenty of bitterness, not enough malt character.

A reddish beer with a ok head. Aroma is hoppy with a delicious malt background. The flavour is quite malty with some hoppy sweetness. Ends bitter. A drinkable and wellbrewed beer, but not it doesn’t really stand out...

Pours with an amber hue with no head. The beer has very good lacing as well! Hoppy aroma with lots of caramel. The flavor is pretty much bitter straight through. Almost too bitter in my opinion! Syrupy texture, with lively carbonation. In my opinion this beer was a little to hoppy and bitter for my liking. Recomended for people who like bitter beers though for sure!

12oz bottle. Pours deep dark copper, finger of off-white head and nice lacing. Basically, this is the same exact beer as Ithaca Cascazilla, just a little pricier. In fact, if you bottled this in the Cascazilla bottles, nobody would know the difference. Check that- Ithacans would probably notice that Cascazilla has a bit more... ZING to it. Pretty good beer though...
