COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Special Ale is, in reality, a reconstructed exhumation of the very first ale that we ever brewed way, way back, in 1993. Brewed with a big head, a muscular malty thorax, a silky texture & all strung together with a hoppy sweet nerve sack... yum.

Poured with a nice bubbly red amber color. Really cleared up with some time. The head thinned out quikcly but has left a few pockets of bubbles. Had a solid hoppy aroma. More malty and smooth than most imperials. Very clean then seems to expand on the tounge.

if you need alcohol, and lots of it, this is your brew. shockingly easy to blow through a sixer... will consider refraining from said ethanol for a peroid of weeks in order to fully indulge.

12oz bottle. Pour is clear brownish red with a big white head that hangs around for awhile. Smell is mostly hops with notes of caramel malts. Taste is sweet malts with some pine hops. Decent lacing. A good brew that is a little heavy but still worth a drink.

Smooth. Yet a smoky finish. The alcohol is very in your face. Not one of my favorite lagunitas brews but good nonetheless ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours with a yellowish head, dark amber in color, good carbonation. Smells of hops with citrus tones. Good malt flavor followed by a hoppy finish. Medium thick mouth feel.

Pours golden copper or amber colour with a fluffy white long lasting head. Aroma is caramel and hops. Flavour is caramel,a bit of bread and piney and citrussy hops. Really nice.

Bottled. Great off white head that does dissapate. Reddish mahagony color with aromas of sweet malt, Earth, And hops. Taste is of solid sweet malt, piny, citrusy, hops, and a little yeast in there. Great mouth feel that tingles the tongue and finishes full.

Real, real good fucking beer. I think if you could have a beer flavored candy cane it would taste like this. This shit is nice and dark and has a nice creamy mouthfeel. Laces the glass nicely and finishes like million bucks with a multitude of hopes. If I could marry a beer, i would put my ring around this brews finger.

Not too sure what the "Imperial" means here, but this is truly a beautiful red. Not too hoppy, not too malty, just perfect. Hops do appear in the aroma but not too much in the mouth. The throat is truly malty as their ad says. Great beer. Gan Bei!
