Commercial Description:
This Special Ale is, in reality, a reconstructed exhumation of the very first ale that we ever brewed way, way back, in 1993. Brewed with a big head, a muscular malty thorax, a silky texture & all strung together with a hoppy sweet nerve sack... yum. O.G. 1.072 84.2 IBU

Pour reddish amber color with frothy head. Flavor was nice (fruity) but flavor didn’t do it for me. I think it was just too sweet for my taste. OK.

Beautiful red pour with a small white head. Floral and malt smells permeate with a big hop bite balanced out by a more subtle malty streak. Very tasty brew.

Nose of hops, hops, and nothing but hops. Somewhat floral boquet. Bitter and crisp, with a big malt sweetish chewiness to it. A great balance. Dry finish, a little resiny. Great beer for hop-heads.

Citrusy aromas with some carmel maltiness there
medium amber with reddish hue, clear, whitish head, low head retention, but good lace.
Initial hoppy blast of citusry and piney notes, light sweetness that has good balance.
Medium body, moderate carbonation, a bit prickly. long, hoppy finish
A pretty tasty, hoppy beer. pretty drinkable, too.

Clear, reddish copper appearance with an average size tan head and good lacing. Robust hop aroma replaces the initial notes of caramel malts. Moderately sweet, malty backbone. Taste balanced by fruity, floral hops and a more noticable resinous aftertaste. Medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel. Lingering, bitter finish.

Dark copper color with a medium head. Light toast and caramel malt aroma. Some citrus hop flavors, followed by a caramel and sweet malt taste. Light alcohol is noticeable. Bitter and slightly acidic finish.
