Commercial Description:
This Special Ale is, in reality, a reconstructed exhumation of the very first ale that we ever brewed way, way back, in 1993. Brewed with a big head, a muscular malty thorax, a silky texture & all strung together with a hoppy sweet nerve sack... yum. O.G. 1.072 84.2 IBU

Poured from a 12oz bottle a deep dark copper with a tan head. Aroma is all malts with a piney/citrus hops lingering in the background. Flavor is wonderfully malty with caramel and citrus hop bite.

What a fantastic tasting brew. Overall it satisfied me entirely. It pours a deep copper body with a super malted aroma and a kicking hop finish. The first initial taste is full and it slowly bubbles and carbonates creamy like in your mouth. While it is a red ale, it has a powerful citrus hop aroma that reminds me of an IPA in disguise. Tastey, tastey!

The aroma is very hoppy with pine and citrus hops. It is also very malty with a caramel malt. The appearance is deep amber with a nice tan head. The flavor is like the aroma and hoppy. The palate is smooth. I think overall it’s good.

Yummy, the malts are nice and rich while the hops has a true pine like flavor. it gives off a nice vibe with many other flavors of caramel and earthy tones. one to have.

Thanks to WeeheavySD for throwing this bottle in as an extra. Pours out nice reddish copper color, slightly hazy. Well carbonated with a moderate off white head. Aroma is of some grassy and citrus hops. Taste is malty with some caramel and some hop bite in there.

Quite a really nice beer, which hits my hoptaste in the right way. Lots of fruity hops like grass, peaches and grapes and a wonderful caramel flavor added with dry hops and some citrus. Great beer!

Bottle from Canals. A hazy copper pour with thin white head. Carmel malt aroma with a caramel/toffee and hop taste that finishes dry. Pretty good.
