Clear orange red coloured with an off white head.
Hopy aroma of pine needles with fruity notes.
Flavour of caramel, malts, hops and pine needles.
Hoppy finish. thewolf (5635), Kolding, Denmark Jan 15, 2008 Bottle, bought @ Ølbaren, Cph. Pours a deep red with a small film head. Aroma has lots of American hoppiness as well as a light fruity edge and weak pine notes. Light caramel peeps through as well. Nice mouthfeel with lots of dryness. Great flavour, sweet caramel at first, then biscuit and maltiness before ending on a powerful dry hoppy note. Nice. Grovlam (3790), Copenhagen, Denmark Jan 15, 2008 Bottle. Courtesy of Bierkönig. [Amager – Mikkeller Brew session @ Amager Bryghus] Average fizzy white head that mostly lasted. Somewhat clear golden – amber color. Aroma of pineapple, apricot, peach, caramel, fruit. Over the palate citrus, grapefruit. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and dry texture. Moderated bitter flavor with good counter sweetness. Dry and bitter finish that lingers. ChristianScheffel (4431), Odense, Denmark Jan 14, 2008 Beautiful dark copper colour with a tan head leaving som lace. Sweet American hop aroma, mostly on the peach and pine side. There is a hint of a sweet malty amber ale flavour, but soon enough it hits you in the head with a wonderful big and bitter hop flavour! Pine and peach all over the mouth and with a bitter grapefruit aftertaste. Yummy! Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 14, 2008 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Bierkönig. Clear, amber golden with a dense, creamy, beige head that leaves quite some lacework. Sweetish aroma of caramel and peaches from the aroma hops. Medium-bodied with fairly sweet caramel with a dry, hoppy finish from the aroma hops. 120108 KimJohansen (6676), Copenhagen V, Denmark Jan 13, 2008 Clear copper with large off white short lasting head. Sweet hop juicy aroma with grapefruit notes. Flavor is hoppy with caramel and powerfull bitterness. cab (861), Denmark Jan 12, 2008 Bottel. What a fine Red....Candy aroma, sharp nose feel, good bitter taste, just right. lovly color. This is top 50 beer. wickedpete (625), Lexington Park, Maryland, USA Jan 10, 2008 Dark ruby color with a half inch tan head. The aroma has a strong hop presence up front along with a warming brown sugar character. Full body shows a mild sweetness that eventually makes way to a crisp pleasant bitterness in the finish that quickly fades. Nothing is overpowering, very well balanced.
