BeerBlockaid (462), West Palm Biatch, Florida, USA Dec 17, 2007 WOW. Absolutely beautiful pour. Amber red mahogany, with a offwhite perfectly sudsy sans thick sud foam thing ample lacing.....its like that head you get from a coke float....or jenna jameson. Taste is sweetly hoppy, and well balanced hops. Very floral and even some toffee and salt water taffy notes. Ends on a grapefruit note, and bites back a bit more. kudos to the sonoma’s!
HenrikSoegaard (2867), Randers, Denmark Jul 2, 2008 Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber-orange colour. Light malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice. FrankJohansen (2548), Sabro, Denmark Jul 1, 2008 Bottle. Clear reddish colour with a medium moslty lasting creamy head and some lacing. Aroma and taste of citrus, malts, caramel and fruits. Dry sweet semi hoppy finish. saxo (2049), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Jul 1, 2008 Bottle. Huge creamy head with excellent duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are hops, flowers, caramel and fruits. Marsiblursi (1248), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 22, 2008 (Bottle) Pours dark amber to reddish brown with a medium, creamy off-white head. The aroma is medium hoppy and sweet with the typical Lagunita-ish tones of tea, light spices and flowers alongside some notes of citrus/mild grapefruit and mild pine. The malt brings toast, caramel, white bread and a faint hint of roasted grain. Undertones of alcohol, suede and red berries. The flavour is medium hoppy and medium malty with tones of citrus - oranges, and grapefruit, dry resin, flowers, pine, caramel, light chocolate roast, light earth and black tea. The mouthfeel is soft, light smooth and velvety with a light carbonation and a notable numbing alcohol touch. Light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a medium dry finish. Medium to full body. If you inject steroids in to a boring style (like red ale) and try to make it “cool”, you often end up with a paranoid mess, this one is quite ok, but still noting more than a über malty and pretty boring IPA. GJF (181), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA Jun 22, 2008 Not generally a big "red" fan, but this is nice. Lots of hop in the aroma. Big malty flavor with a crisp hop finish. It shoots, it scores!
