May 22, 2005 Pours a reddish amber color with a thick ivory colored rocky head. Some earthy hop aromas but not a lot in the nose. Medium bodied with a nice soft mouth feel. A great balance of earthy hop and malt flavors. It finishes with a touch of lingering bitterness in the finish. Well done!

May 10, 2005 22oz Bomber Semi-witty teaser blurb on side label. Clear amber. Thick Lagunitas head lasts forever clinging to the glass. Sharp pine scent initially along with peaches and grapefruits and malts. Medium body and lusciously smooth. A tad chewy and slick in the finish. Nice and hoppy yet somewhat balanced Cali-IPA like brew with an extra kick. Fruity hop flavors and delicately bitter balanced by a heavy dose of malt. One of the premier breweries in the west to be sure. Thanks goes to Darkelf for the sample.

Apr 22, 2005 Bottle. Pours clear, dark reddish-amber (not surprisingly) with a large and fluffy off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is yummy, rich caramelly malts with lots of floral and citrus hops bursting through. Flavor is nice as well, lots of malt sweetness, balanced by massive amounts of grapefruit and citrus rind hops that leave my mouth with a pleasant pucker. Medium body and creamy carbonation. I like this beer very much, I’m surprised by the ratings it’s gotten.

Aug 24, 2006 (22oz. Bottle) Pours a deep amber body with a large lasting beige head. Aroma of caramel, fresh baked bread, and citrus (orange, grapefruit). The flavor has a god malt base with fresh hops combined with a sweet caramel and citrus finish. This blends nicely to a soft, silky smooth dessert in a glass. An excellent beer!

Oct 2, 2007 Amber in color with a very spicy, hoppy smell. Sticky and malty at first, almost sweet, the flavor is all hops in the finish. Very fruity, full of grapefruit and really really really awesome.

May 19, 2005 22 oz bottle. Pours copper-red with a medium tan head that lasts quite a while. Nose is malt with a hint of sugar. Very nice mouth-feel. This beer comes and gets you, and is not to be denied. This is one of the better brews I have never been disappointed in a Lagunitas offering, and this is no exception. Way to go.

May 6, 2006 Very nice pour. Not overly sweet, Very easy drinking, alcohol subdued. Piney, citrus, hops in the aftertaste, Nice brew for me, will be drinking more of this one!

Pours solid amber with a nice solid head of white. Aroma is floral, with notes of hops and apricot. Flavor is sweet and sour apricot. Full mouthfeel. Fantastic beer.
