Oct 18, 2007 on tap at the Houston Flying Saucer. Deep reddish copper colored pour with a nice rocky tan head. Nose is just awesome – dominate piney hop aroma, enough maltiness in the background to balance it out. Mouthfeel is just a touch sticky, but otherwise perfect. Great flavor, the hops are up front and followed with a malty sweetness that doesn’t go overboard. This is another great beer from Lagunitas – they continue to impress.

Nov 13, 2006 Aroma is citrusy, some pine. Pours red, nice looking head. Flavor is good, with a decent amount of hops, and a nice malt backbone. Well balanced. I like!

Feb 5, 2009 Bottle ca. 33cl from ølbutikken. no best before so i’ve got no idea if it is fresh or not.
clear orange/red, thick small offwhite head.
aroma is quite hoppy, very nicely hopped, underneath the hops i sense red fruits. marzipan, slight pine, slight flowers. supe aroma. as it warms up i get a slight dose of aged beer.
flavor is hoppy, dark fruits. totally tasty and refreshing.

Oct 14, 2007 Poured from the bottle a deep garnet red with off-white head and decent lacing. Aroma was hops and malts. Flavor was a blast of piney hops followed sweet malts and finishing with a bittering hop bite. Silky mouthfeel, even with all those hops. Tasted like a mildly sweet IPA, very good!

Nov 17, 2006 Hazy red. Aroma of pine and cirtus hop goodness. Flavors of hop bitterness, sourdough bread, lots of caramel sweetness. medium bodied hop tenderness. great bite. Just how I like it.

Nov 15, 2007 Poured on tap at the Pineville Tavern, PA. Was heavy bodied and heady on tap. First hints of malts, caramel and malty goodness, followed by just enough citrus zest to cut through and make any mouth go "Ahhhhhhh."

Dec 23, 2007 Quick diminshing off white head. Very lively carbonated. Citrus hops aroma (grapefruit and lemon). Nice bitterness up from with a bit of sour mixed in. Nice balance of bitterness and maltiness. Bitterness does linger on the tongue, but not in a bad way. Alcohol nice really apparent. Nice beer.

Sep 5, 2009 Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a clear deep amber/red with nice beige head. Aroma is filled with hoppy citrus, very aromatic. Flavor pine, a little sweetness, very light caramel, malty, nice clean bitter. Mouth feel is medium body with high carbonation. Overall, this beer has some liveliness to it, I very much enjoyed and would recommend.
