4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Appearance: Pours an attractive amber copper color. Translucent. And it has a creamy beige head and loads of lacing lining the glass.
Smell: Caramel and a sweet poignant grapefruit aroma, hints of earthy woodyness, and creamy sweet browned butter, a toasty brown sugar and a gently ‘delightfully’ phenolic butterscotch aroma induce the salivation. This beer is a sniffer.
Taste: This beer does a beautiful dance upon the palate. The sweet sensations from the candied caramelized malt to the orange pine hop biter that prance on my taste buds with a hint of mint, lightly toasted malt and butterscotch candy flavors followed by some alcohol showing through just enough to warm the palate and ease the mind, oh yeah!!! Mmm! It finishes with a strong green pine hop bitter kick that lets you know it was there, but the aftertaste is so pleasant it is worth savoring even after the beer is gone. Spectacular!
Mouthfeel: It is a velvety smooth medium – full body beer that is spicy astringent and enjoyable.
Drinkabilty: I really enjoy this beer but ‘golly me’ I am done with one. I is big in IBU and sweetness and alcohol is up there too. This is an enjoyable beer in moderation. Not a sessioner by any means.
Hope this is helpful.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Strong robust aroma nutty and strong. nothing special on appearance. Red with weak white head that dissipates quickly. A good tasting beer but not off the charts

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Pours a bold copper color, lots of sediment/hops suspended, good head with nice lacing. Aroma is medium, appetizing, and matches taste. Taste is strong--a little sweet on the nose, some malts but not as much as I’d like. Fades to a dry-hopped bitter. Nice hop back-bone. It’s a west-coast version of the imperial red ale. Recommended.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. Pours a copper amber orange with ample frothy head. Aroma is mix of roasty malt and ripe grapefruit. Taste is intially bitter, then malty sweet and switch back to bitter aftertaste. Slightly oily mouthfeel and texture. Nice Imperial here.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 ounce bottle. Copper red color. Big foamy beige head. Clinging lace. Spicy hop nose redolent of resin and pine hops. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor has the tell-tale Lagunitas spicy hop character. You get grapefruit, pine, cardamom and black pepper. Some brown sugar and toasted pecans as well. Finish is dry and bitter with a hint of the 7.8% ABV emerging.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
From the 650 ml. bottle. Attractive amber pour with a long lasting cream colored head. Lots of floral hops combine with the toasted malts to make the aroma a pleasant sniffing experience. Smooth, medium body. The taste is awash with roasted malts and hop bitterness. Lingering finish. Highly enjoyable and well balanced

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a nice deep red with a 2 finger, off white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, and roasted malts. Flavor matches, it seems like a mix between a red and an IPA. This is more bitter than a standard red, so you hop-heads might like it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bottle from The Party Source. Pours a deep, clear reddish copper color with an inch of frothy off-white head. Aroma of toasted and caramel and bready malts, a lot of nuts, dry leaves, grass, and earth. The flavor is fruitier and more bitter- florals, citrus, dried berries, caramel, nuts, tea, grass, florals, tobacco, and mild spice. Medium-bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation, and an odd balance of sweet and bitter and malty and earthy. Really digs in on the finish. More complexity than I anticipated.
