Hoptagon (52), Arlington, Virginia, USA Apr 28, 2008 12 oz. Bottle. Coppery colored with a medium off white head. Aroma has a bit of pine and some toasted crystal malt character. Flavor emphasizes the bittering hops, but has a solid malt profile to keep it from being harsh. Some toasted biscuit flavor and mild sweetness are detectable through the hops. Mouthfeel is well done, beer doesn’t feel too thin or heavy on the tongue. Finish is largely bitter and lingering. Another solid brew from Lagunitas.
