3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cherry... Roastie...very bitter on the end. Good slickness on the mouth. The initial hit I get and the first half is good but then the bitterness that hits kind of brings down the finale of this beer... Decent...alright

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours an opaque black with a small light brown ring of head with little to no lace but decent legs. Aroma is licorice, dark dried fruits, roasted malt, cocoa, and cappuccino like notes. Flavour is dark dried fruits, licorice, roasted malt, cocoa, dark malt bitterness, cappuccino and a touch of alcohol on the finish. Great easy drinking big beer with a nice creamy mouthfeel.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours an opaque black with a small brown ring of lace. Aroma of roasted malts, anise, vanilla, chocolate and light hazelnut. Taste is roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla, light bourbon, anise and nice sharp alcohol warmth on the finish. Mouthfeel is medium carbonated, creamy and full bodied. Overall an excellent imperial stout and super smooth for ten percent and provides a complexity of flavors and aromas.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. This is big and rich as one wants in an impy stout. It is a little down the line and unadventurous - but at under $5 its a great deal for a bomber of good stout.

Dark brown/black pour with a medium tan head.
Aroma is cocoa, dark fruit, hint of soy. Nice roasted malt.
Flavour is cola, cocoa, some bitter chocolate plays well with a dark fruit finish. Touch on the lighter palate side for the style. Very drinkable

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
750 ml bottle. Pours a ruby reddish black with a beige head. Aroma is chocolate, roast, hazelnut. Flavor is roast, chocolate, hazelnut (what a surprise, here). Finish is coffeeish, very bitter, somewhat boozy and warming. Medium body, soft, velvety mouthfeel and weak to average carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours dark reddish brown with a nice head that quickly diminishes to a thin film around the edge and leaves almost no lacing. Weak nose of coffee, chocolate and molasses-not the kind of aroma I’ve come to expect from this brewer. Medium sweet, lightly bitter, too much carbonation, smooth oily texture, light to medium body, light hints of alcohol and a lightly bitter finish.
