COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet youíre on.

sample on 6/5/08, rating from notes. pours a golden color with a decent white head. huge hop profile on the nose... a little disappointed that this didnít carry through all the way to the finish. however, it is a solid IPA that is very drinkable - and under 6% making this a great session beer. the palate is typical of a generic American IPA. Medium body, average carbonation... and a good bitter finish. Just wish those hops came through more.

A mild yet tasty offering. Itís not too overwhelming that a rookie IPA drinker couldnít handle it. Mostly sweet, with a finishing bitterness that balances everything out. Orange in color, a thin white head.

Appearance: Pours a crystal clear, yellow-orange body with a full, foamy, white head. Smell: Pale maltiness along with notes of spice, pine, and ruby red grapefruit. Taste: Lightly sweet pale malts with a hint of spent grain. Spicy, piney, citrusy hop flavors. Medium bitterness. A final taste of caramel. Finishes with a light bitterness. Mouthfeel: Just barely medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A fine little American IPA, it delivers pretty much what youíd expect from it.

Very good IPA that seems to have both floral and pine and citrus hops to it. It is bitter enough to be an IPA but not enough to be a particulaly brutal one. Very smooth like a good bitter. Pretty simple actually, but very good none the less.

The aroma is malty with caramel and pine/citrus hops. The appearance is amber with a good head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. I really like this one.

decent, the malts are nice but the hops kinda fall flat which is what they wanted to go on. still its some malts character with caramel flavor. enjoyable.

Pour is amber, piney aroma that is the high point of this beer, after the first sip the beer becomes an amber ale, sweet and malty with a light hop flavor. relatively heavy mouthfeel

Pour is medium golden with long lasting white fluffy head. Aroma is of fresh crisp hops and some pine. Flavor is up front hoppy with some malt aftertaste. Iím guessing that with all of the different hops and malts used in this, it must have been made with all of the extra ingredients from the brewery. I canít see a reason to add that many ingredients to a beer. There is no possible way for someone to distinguish each flavor in the beer. It is actually a physical impossibility because our tongue is not that sensitive. Still a good beer. May buy again.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2008 A decent IPA. The aroma is really grassy even for an IPA. Overall I enjoyed it, but it didnít have the fully rounded taste that other IPAs like Stoneís has. A pretty plain, average IPA. Iíll probably stick to Stone and Dogfish Head.
